In FTL you experience the atmosphere of running a spaceship trying to save the galaxy. It's a dangerous mission, with every encounter presenting a unique challenge with multiple solutions. What will you do if a heavy missile barrage shuts down your shields? Reroute all power to the engines in an attempt to escape, power up additional weapons to blow your enemy out of the sky, or take the fight to them with a boarding party? This "spaceship simulation roguelike-like" allows you to take your ship and crew on an adventure through a randomly generated galaxy filled with glory and bitter defeat.

Dans FTL, vous êtes aux commandes d'un vaisseau spatial et vous tentez de sauver la galaxie. Votre mission est extrêmement dangereuse, chaque adversaire constituant un défi unique pouvant être abordé de multiples façons. Comment réagirez-vous si une volée de missiles détruit vos boucliers ? Enverrez-vous toute l'énergie disponible aux moteurs pour tenter de vous enfuir, activerez-vous davantage d'armes pour détruire le vaisseau ennemi, ou bien enverrez-vous votre équipage à l'abordage ? Ce jeu de simulation spatiale de type rogue-like vous permet de piloter votre vaisseau dans une galaxie générée aléatoirement où vous pourrez vous couvrir de gloire... si vous parvenez à éviter la défaite.

- Un gameplay complexe et très tactique - Donnez des ordres à votre équipage, répartissez la puissance dont vous disposez et sélectionnez vos cibles en une fraction de seconde dans le feu de l'action.

Faster Than Light is the game that made stress, pressure, and the imminence of total annihilation feel like fun. Before Bethesda's space opera Starfield, or beloved roguelikes such as Hades and Dead Cells, FTL propelled us into the deepest recesses of the cosmos and left us to fend for ourselves. Engines malfunctioned. Airlocks were breached. Entire crews were unceremoniously ejected into the vacuum of the universe. But after enough playthroughs and some hard-learned lessons, Faster Than Light transcended its sharp learning curve to become one of the richest and most rewarding games of 2012. « Dao bi 8.7 npr. dobra je igrica i stvarno lepo uradjena itd, ali to da iznova i iznova i iznova moram sve ispocetka od najlakseg itd me izmara lai najvise umara sto stvarno postoji ogromna doza srece pa to smara iskreno tako da ono, super igra nema sta, ali me je stvarno zamarala i da me neko pita ne bi je vise nikad igrao sigurno jbg. morao sam da koristim cheat engine da ubrzam dosadne delove na pocetku kada si preslab itd. »
« FTL is an interesting way to combine space adventure with roguelike mechanics. The core idea is simple - survive until the very end while collecting as many resources and weapons as possible. Over time, the gameplay can start to feel a bit repetitive, but the presence of more than 20 different ships helps keep things fresh. Each ship plays differently and requires its own approach, forcing you to adapt your strategy every run. The game isn’t something groundbreaking, but it can easily take away several hours of your time. »

« FTL. The classic roguelike space captain sim. It's a ton of fun, with maybe a bit too much rng that means on some runs you can feel like you couldn't reallly have done anything more and lose horribly. It'a maybe a bit too punishing. Is that just me being not good though? Potentially. There may well be mods that help balance the game a bit and I would look something like that up if I was going to play it again on PC. Still highly recommended and probably cheap as chips these days in a sale. »
« Very satisfying roguelike that is made so much better by it's dedicated modding community. Multiverse makes FTL so much deeper, complicated and customizable. On average, runs are probably easier with default options on normal mode but the game becomes more well balanced (with some rather extreme exceptions like intentionally over or underpowered cruisers). Overpowered things from base game are nerfed and useless things are made more viable. »
« Fun game to play in between bigger games. Can be quite addictive ('just one more run'). RNG can be brutal, but that's part of the fun. The runs don't take that long, so you can just start another. One of my palate cleansers after I finish a bigger game. »
