Fortnite est un jeu en ligne gratuit développé et publié par Epic Games, sorti le 29 juin 2020. Il propose un mode Battle Royale où le joueur et ses amis s'affrontent pour rester les derniers en vie, un mode Creative pour créer ses propres parties, ainsi qu'un espace Party Royale accueillant des événements en direct. Classé parmi les genres tir, aventure, simulation, stratégie et jeu de rôle, le titre fonctionne sur PC, Mac, Android, iOS, PlayStation 4 et 5, Xbox One et Series X|S, Nintendo Switch et Nintendo Switch 2, et repose sur le moteur Unreal Engine 4. Le temps de jeu pour l'histoire principale est estimé à 62 heures et à 486 heures pour un parcours complet. Fortnite affiche un score Metacritic de 81, un score OpenCritic de 84 et une note agrégée de 80,60. La presse a salué la richesse de ses systèmes et le plaisir procuré par le mélange de combat et de construction, tandis que certains joueurs déplorent les microtransactions et d'autres recommandent chaleureusement l'expérience dans ses divers modes.

« The size of this game should be reduced it should not be more than 30 or 40 gigs. The quality of the gameplay should increase and the quality of the shooting should be better and more enjoyable. The game should have two modes a slightly smaller map and a number of 25 and 50 players so that there is no need to search for players with cars or other things. Ammunition and all resources should reach the player quickly and completely so that the player does not waste a lot of time getting them and the game time should be shorter and the map should shrink faster and the game should be more competitive and obtaining resources and weapons should not be difficult and time-consuming. I would like the map to change completely every time I enter the game, and the game to be much more diverse and nothing should be repetitive and each time it challenges the players with a very high variety and increases the excitement of the game and the competition becomes more intense. Increase the very high variety every time you enter the game and focus and creativity on the main part.I hope the game becomes much more interesting and diverse and not every time you enter the game with every update. »
« What the hell even is this game anymore??? I personally wouldn’t be that bothered that this is not a serious competitive game anymore. I could just move on knowing Fortnite as just “the guest character game.” But of course they’re going all in on ai slop! And what on god’s earth is that peanut sidekick or whatever they’re called?! »
