Life is Feudal: Your Own, développé et publié par BITBOX Ltd., est sorti le 17 novembre 2015 sur PC (Microsoft Windows). Ce sandbox RPG indépendant à la fois simulation, aventure et jeu de rôle propose un monde médiéval fictif et réaliste accueillant jusqu'à 64 joueurs sur une carte de 3 km par 3 km, où chacun peut héberger sa propre partie et fixer ses règles. Le titre repose sur un système de terraformation libre, une construction modulaire, un artisanat approfondi incluant forge, agriculture et élevage, ainsi qu'un combat multijoueur sans ciblage basé sur la physique et des formations de bataille. Le système de compétences et de statistiques permet de façonner son personnage, tandis que l'alchimie génère des recettes aléatoires propres à chaque joueur, dans un environnement soumis aux saisons et à un système de dégâts anatomique.
L'accueil critique est mitigé, avec un score Metacritic de 63 et une note agrégée de 66,55. COGconnected a indiqué avoir fini par apprécier le jeu après la courbe d'apprentissage et le grind de compétences, tandis que Multiplayer.it a souligné son potentiel mais son éloignement d'un objectif de version MMORPG. Certains joueurs sur Metacritic mentionnent une mauvaise optimisation et un problème ancien non résolu au profit de la version MMO, quand d'autres saluent l'ambiance musicale et le farming, et que des avis Steam négatifs expriment une forte déception.

« This game would be great But they stopped caring about its players. They just care about the MMO and still haven't fixed a 4 year old problem that brakes the game for signal and private servers. I have built 25 worlds and each of them single and private both fail after so a few days of play. No work around available have to start a whole new game lose all my progression. why would we play the MMO when we cant even play the first game Your Own my _ _ _. »
« The idea is great, However the game is set to be all about Griefing. The combat system is choppy and unpolished, thing that take weeks to build can be destroyed in seconds, and there is no charge or upkeep for war decs so the alignment system is utterly useless. Your choices are pretty much join a griefer guild or waste your time trying to build as your wiped by bored players that play everything like is call of duty. I would not recommend this to anyone in its current state and from the input of devs and Gm's I am pretty sure its going to stay griefer friendly so future looks grim. This is exactly why the population is droping so fast. In the last weekand a half population has droped by 50% and its still droping, will be dead at this rate in a few months. »
