My Time Restaurant
Chongqing!"The Cyberpunk City"A modern, sprawling municipality with a rich history spanning more than 2000 years: an ancient kingdom, a war-time capital; a place where the only thing hotter than the weather is the food, and the only thing hotter than the food is the passion we feel for this little place called "home..." ...Of course, none of you are interested in that, you just want to come and take selfies in front of whatever neon-lit staircase is trending on whichever social media service you're currently cripplingly addicted to. And selfie you have! By the droves. By the millions. Right in our back yard. But here at Pathea, we don't get mad, we get with the times! Rather than sit around grumbling about how all the tourists are wandering into our apartment buildings and pushing all the elevator buttons, we've decided to cash in, baby!Introducing……THE CHONGQING JIEFANGBEI MY TIME RESTAURANTThat's right, we're proud to announce that we're boldly going where.. some... have gone... and mostly failed... before! But surely that won't happen to us!How does it work?Don't you just hate those "build it yourself" type restaurants with a hundred different ingredients and no advice given on what might work well together? Like, come on, you're the chef, tell me what's good here!Well, we've taken that annoyance and turned it into a full-blown monument to human suffering! The My Time Inc. Food and Fun for the Whole Family Corporate Sponsored Gastronomical Experience is the first and ONLY restaurant that allows you to BUILD YOUR OWN MEAL, the My Time Way™! A way that is so unintuitive, so impenetrable, so baffling there's almost NO chance you'll end up with anything halfway edible; that's the FUN! Every meal is a roll of the dice, or... like opening up a loot box...?Step 1: TEAR BOUNTY FROM THE EARTHGrab your Axe, Pickaxe, and/or Pickhammer and start gathering in our first ever, real life "Abandoned Ruins!" Chop down our patented Noodle Trees, crack open deposits of Garlic Ore, shovel raw tofu into mine carts... you can even blow apart our spice caverns using REAL DYNAMITE! 10+ please, big kids only! We'll even have real herbs you can pluck out of our Planter Boxes, grown fresh by our staff! Good frickin' luck with that, though, it's cloudy and foggy like 360 days out of the year here.Disclaimer: "Cheese-lung" is not a real illness that can be contracted from our mines, it's all in your head.Step 2: SHAPE CHAOS INTO FORMTake your raw materials and shape them into yummy bite-sized goodness! Use a Civil Cutter to process your Noodle Lumber, turn your condiment ore into bars at the Furnace, blend any undesirables, go home with a souvenir you can treasure for life by injuring yourself on an Industrial Processor! Step 3: ASSEMBLY STATIONNow it's time for all your hard work to pay off! Kinda!Take the mishmash of oddly shaped ingredients you just made and take them to a REAL Assembly Station! That's right, it's a REAL flat steel platform, made of real steel and real flat, where each customer has two and a half minutes each to try to make sense of what they've crafted.Step 4: ENJOY!From here on out, the My Time restaurant is an ordinary restaurant, although the experience getting here was anything but ordinary, wouldn't you say!?!?And after you've loved us the first time, here are some reasons to come back for seconds! \Due to the unanticipated overwhelming opening hype, we’re looking for several "Master Chefs" to join our team! No age limit, no prior real-world experience required, low education a bonus, actually.Required Credentials: 100% recipe unlocks in both My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock. We provide top-tier, state-of-the-art equipment: Cooking Pots, Advanced Cooking Stations, Grills, Drying Racks, and Blenders. No training necessary, just stand by the machines and press the "E" key to create culinary masterpieces instantly!Send your "Resume" to: [email protected] Roadmap for 2027:-Give gifts to our staff to force them into friendship-Less reliance on Carbon Steel Bars-Commission Board: Make meals for other people!-Using mad science to breed a real, live Yakmel-We'll have you guys build a bridge to somewhere-An extremely punishing stamina system (run out, we send you home)-Research tree for unlocking new ingredients-Bug fixes: Clipping through floor, cloned NPCs, etc.In conclusionHow much could such an amazing experience cost? "This couldn't be cheap!" you may be thinking. And that's where you'd be right! Still, due to some questionable business practices and shady under the table dealings, you, the customer, can enjoy the My Time Restaurant Experience for the low, low price of...600 GOLS per HEAD!And by Gols, we mean USD. (4,123.83 RMB)But don't worry, we're always thinking of our fans: check out these cool ways you can earn yourself a discount for sticking with us through thick and thin:Discount Table (With Proof of Purchase):My Time at Sandrock or My Time at Portia - 10% DiscountMTaS & MTaP - 20% DiscountAbove + All Sandrock DLC - 30% DiscountAbove + Everforward + Let's School - Heck, you may as well just take the restaurant off our hands; we're having second thoughts at this point.See you there!

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)
« It is safe to say that even after a dozens of hours of play, I only scratched the surface of what there is to do in My Time At Portia. Combine hunting, mining, building and romancing with a fascinating setting and an involved narrative, and I can see myself continuing to go back to play more. My Time at Portia is more than a worthy alternative to Stardew Valley and one of the first must have games of 2019. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some more mining to do. »
« My Time At Portia isn’t a game as much as it is a holiday, an adventure, and an achievement in indie game production. The intriguing world, compelling systems, and simple gameplay all makes it a fantastic experience. »
« My Time at Portia cultivates hard work and pays it off with a sense of progression and achievement. When you aren’t searching for materials or crafting a new gadget, you’re off cavorting at festivals or bonding with the friendly townsfolk. There’s always something waiting for you at Portia, and it pulls you back in every time. »
« I love the lifestyle that My Time at Portia has shown us. I enjoyed every moment I spent there, producing products, earning money, decorating my house, and communicating with other residents. Except for the low quality of voice and sound performance, this game has a lot of fun waiting for you to experience. »
« My Time At Portia is a beautiful experience that has a lot of content to offer players. Be it farming or fighting, you'll find something to enjoy in this carefully crafted title. »
« An excellent game on the trails of Harvest Moon and Rune Factory, My Time at Portia is a charming and well developed experience. »
« My Time at Portia is not just a simulator, it’s an adventure game loaded with things to do, people to talk to (and potentially romance), ruins to explore, and things to create. It’s an addicting romp that keeps you playing the next day in hopes of finally completing that one goal only to create another one in the process. »
« My Time at Portia successfully gives some original touch on the genre, managing to differ from its peers like Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon. While it has some problems with few design mechanics like crafting and small lack of dungeons to delve into, it puts player into interesting role of a builder, all while having a beautiful and cute looking world to explore. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« My Time at Portia is a title defined by sharp contrasts. On one hand, it offers a stimulating gameplay loop and an extremely rewarding sense of urban progression, where seeing the city grow thanks to your own machinery provides genuine satisfaction. The social system that links practical benefits to friendships with the inhabitants is an excellent intuition, yet it is unfortunately undermined by the passivity of NPCs and the excessive favoritism toward Emily, who feels omnipresent while everyone else remains in the background waiting to be sought out. While the aesthetics are charming, the repetitive routines and the lack of negative relationships strip the world of potential depth. However, the most significant issues emerge in the advanced mechanics and technical polish. The cooking system is pointlessly cumbersome and lacks an intelligent automation system for discovered recipes. The same applies to the factory: the fact that it doesn't automatically create the materials required for an assembled project is a logical failure that weighs down the pacing without adding value. When you factor in underwhelming machine upgrades, repetitive S-level commissions, and voice acting that cuts out halfway through scenes, the result is a product that is ambitious but finished with poor attention to detail. In conclusion, My Time at Portia remains an interesting experiment that deserves a solid passing grade for its engineering foundations, but it fails to refine the details that could have made it a masterpiece. »
« +500 saat **** Valley oynamış biri olaraktan bu oyunu nedense sevemedim. Fazla çocuksu ve basit hissettiriyor. »
« Oyunun Çok Güzel Bir Havası Var. Oyun O Kadar Çeşitli Ki Anlatamam. Gayet Güzel Bir Oyun. Yapanların Eline Sağlık, Oynayın, Oynattırın. »
« Got bored of playing **** Valley and Animal Crossing New Horizons, so I gave this a go. And I’m so glad I did! It might feel a bit grind-y at times but I don’t mind. Then I can just go and explore the milieu. »
« beautifully crafted game. as many have reported, yes, there are consistent spelling/grammar issues and yes, there is a decent level of instability on the switch version (although at the time of this review, a performance update is planned to release soon! if you consider buying this game on switch, i’d look to see if you may want to wait until this update comes out). but all of this really doesn’t bother me. the addictive mechanics in all of the machines, the relationship building, the scenery, is all amazing! i’ve just recently reached 325 hours on this, and i’ve got 200+ hours on other platforms. it may take a few hours to adapt to playing the game comfortably but after that, i got hooked! the pacing is up to you throughout, as long as you don’t take some friendship-related quests and commissions too early. but, if you find it ends up feeling too slow, then make some more machines to use at once! the main storyline has little-to-no time constraint pressure, and you can even lower the in-game clock speed in the settings. mobile is likely the most optimal experience for this game (it has extra qol like manual mid-day saves +cloudsaves, slightly nicer movement and well-optimised graphics - however, controller support is only partial) pc is fairly stable and also has mods to customise the game textures, remove limits and edit some mechanics console isn’t too bad except for some occasional bugs, but the performance on platforms like switch isn’t great and is prone to crashing for now »
« Eu gosto muito da serie "my time". É um jogo de construção com uma historia muito divertida. Os personagens são meio feios, mas são bem trabalhados. »
« its fun »
« Only playable with mods due to the artificially and unrealistically long times needed for crafting, but then mods can make it so you reach a milestone too early and a quest pops up you can't access something for but is also timed and now you've failed. Many bugs still exist, parts of the game are unfinished, sound is missing... I *have* played this for many hours, but it's been the mods that have made it playable enough to get through - the base game would have been dropped within an in-game day. Additionally (and thanks to another review here) I now learn they jerked around their voice actors. Absolutely unacceptable behavior. They've got a new game out now - My Time At Sandrock - but based on never finishing this game and their treatment of people, I haven't even bothered looking at whether MTAS is built any better or had fewer issues, because their overall neglect of this game have left such a bad taste in my mouth. »
