Evil Dead: Regeneration, développé par Cranky Pants Games et édité par THQ, est paru le 13 septembre 2005 sur PC (Microsoft Windows), PlayStation 2 et Xbox. Ce jeu mêlant les genres aventure et hack 'n' slash / beat 'em up, fondé sur le moteur RenderWare et utilisant le DRM SecuROM|7, fait suite au film Evil Dead 2. Le joueur incarne Ash, interné dans un asile psychiatrique où un scientifique fou réalise des expériences à l'aide du Necronomican. Doté de moyens de tir et accompagné d'un nouveau compagnon, un « deadite » de trois pieds de haut, il combat les créations impies du scientifique pour sauver la civilisation.
Le titre a reçu un score Metacritic de 69 et une note agrégée de 69,91.
