Doraemon Story of Seasons, développé par Brownies et édité par Bandai Namco Entertainment, est un jeu de crossover associant l'univers de Doraemon à la série Story of Seasons, connue internationalement sous ce nom après Bokujou Monogatari. Sorti le 13 juin 2019 sur Nintendo Switch, PC (Microsoft Windows) et PlayStation 4, ce titre mêle aventure, simulation et rôle (RPG) en suivant le quotidien de Nobi, un garçon au cœur d'or, qui noue des liens avec les villageois et explore la région aux côtés de Doraemon, Shizuka, Géant et Sunéo. La ferme peut être personnalisée par la culture de plantes, l'élevage d'animaux et la fabrication de meubles, les gadgets de Doraemon apportant une dimension magique à cette gestion. Réalisé sous Unity avec un DRM Steam et proposé à 39,99 euros, il affiche une note agrégée de 70,81 et une durée de 59 heures et demie pour l'histoire principale, étendue à 110 heures pour une approche complétionniste. La presse a salué la rencontre entre la formule Story of Seasons et l'icône culturelle japonaise, Switch Player relevant que le récit implique le joueur par son rythme et sa lisibilité, tandis que certains joueurs sur Steam apprécient la prise de temps et l'énergie à gérer via les siestes.

« I am not going to lie, I got this game out of nostalgia for Doraemon, its one of those anime that I grew up with. The game play itself is very similar to all the farming game but the mini game is what makes it fun. Its very, very relaxing, and I am definitely a bit biased due to the after mention nostalgia. Voice over is great, and no romance, since the characters are from a different world with story already set in. Performance and Graphic is very good, not for everyone but for me, I love it. »
« The graphics are really nice and the game play is not bad. But, this game suffers from "Japanese **** syndrome" of making cut-scenes last for 7 hours with zero impact on story. For example, the starting scene lasted for 1 hour, give or take 10 mins (and no, I am not exaggerating). It constantly takes you out of game play for some pointless cut-scene that lasts for a long **** time. Thank the gods some cut scenes are skippable. This is my second dive into "Harvest Moon" series, my first one being on an old GBA game, can't remember which one. I don't care about the "No marriage" option which a lot of people seems pissed about. Can't even remember if the GBA game had it or not as I didn't care. I do not know much about Doraemon franchise or Harvest Moon. I bought this one 'cos the graphics looks amazing. Not pissed at the gameplay, it's actually fun. Angry at the amount of immersion breaking hour long cutscenes. To make things worse, my 1 month old puppy can come up with a better story than this crap. Remove the cutscenes and the **** story (why even bother with a story in a sim game?) and you have an amazing and relaxing game. Avoid if you actually want to play a game. Buy if pressing start and selecting "Yes" when asked to skip is your thing. P.S. In sound settings, set voice volume to Zero. Trust me, I'm doing you a huge favor here. »
« Perhaps the reason why I did not like this game is because I have never seen any Doraemon related media before. But even so, this game is such a drag. The main character is irritating and stupid. The introduction is incredibly long winded and boring. The farming aspects and variety have been toned down and because you're playing as that silly little boy, there are no marriage options. The graphics are impressive though and it is a really pretty game. But overall, I hope they never make a game like this again. »
