Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc

« At its core, Danganronpa is a melting pot of various philosophical puzzles that pulls together in such a way that it connected with me on a very deep, very real level. Without giving the ending away, the ultimate fate of all the characters (including Monokuma) left me more than a little shaken, and any game that's able to connect with me at that kind of primal level must be worth the investment. »
« It's an unsettling journey, but it's probably one worth taking. »
« Clocking in at around twenty hours, there is little reason to play through a second time but as is the case with a great book, once picked up it’ll be difficult to put down and when this abearrant tale has finished bearing it all, you’ll put it down with a smile on your face. »
« Danganronpa’s heavy storyline segments and somber themes won’t be for everyone, but for Vita owners looking for something fresh, stylish, and enthralling to play on their handheld of choice, this is an utterly fascinating game that shouldn’t be missed. »
« Games of this ilk are rarely for everyone, but this is a unique experience that really stands out – even in the Vita’s burgeoning library. »
« The themes of Danganronpa aren’t going to be for everyone, but for those who want an exceptional story that gets its hooks in, then you cannot go wrong here. »
« One of the best visual novels available in English, despite some hiccups. »
« A thrilling murder mystery from start to finish, Danganronpa is an essential purchase for those who enjoy games as interactive stories. »

« I don't remember the last time I was so intrigued and captivated by a VN, always curious about what will happen, the mystery and constant tension keeping me on my toes while a dark feeling lingers throughout the entire story. This is by no means a normal VN, it has more gameplay than many non-VN games, which was shocking to see. The detective gameplay, always asking yourself what is actually going on, the character development of some really well-done characters with amazing artwork, the really good dialogue, exploration, and the many other gameplay elements all together create one of the best experiences I've had in years. »

Only the most talented, most intelligent students attend here. However, you don’t have any special talents, but just so happen to get in asthe “ultimate lucky student”. However, once you arrive, you begin the true story of this game. 16 students, one survivor. The killers? Your friends. The host? A psychotic robot bear. And the only way to win? TO KILL. Danganronpa takes a dark road with its own terrifying twists. The most brutal kills are those you get attached to. This game will betray you. And after, You’ll come out traumatized. Though it isn’t a horror game, it is extremely brutal and dark. Every case is a life or death situation. Get it wrong, and you’re executed, with the killer being free. Life’s on the line, only one can win, and the others WILL die. Danganronpa is a true blue whodunit. A game that takes every form of normal visual novel gameplay and turns it into something special. Over all, 10/10. You will come out a new person. »
