Description Steam (Français)
Most people spend their whole lives never touching magick, and some are gripped by it before they ever open their eyes. Is there a place in this world for a child cursed with the hunger of the Moons? For a child with a song that wants to be sung? Will they devour one another or find salvation in each other’s embrace?
The world of Taldun is shaped by mysterious forces of the Seas, a power that gives and takes life. Touching its waters brings death to most people, but in rare cases some survive it and become magi. Evin and Near come from very different circumstances, one grew up in a tiny village and stumbled upon magick by accident, and the other was born with it and spent their life locked away in a temple. Despite this, as if pulled together by the currents of the Sea, their paths cross, and now a storm is brewing.
The story deals with emotionally heavy themes.

The Longing development resumed
Hi, it's been a while since we worked on the Longing, but we're back at it now.I (Ze) will be completing the draft, which had sat at around 90k words since last I touched it(over 6 months ago). We have a bunch of artworks already done, which I think looks pretty cool, you have ancient Seas mouths, remote villages, lonely mountain peaks, temples, all kinds of goodies. More will come once the script is done. I'm aiming to finish it somewhere around the 12-18 months mark. That's the short of it, if you want the long:We kind of lost focus after the Remainder, we explored a bunch of things, like sketching out a story for the Hunger, which will follow the Longing, making a bunch of pixel art for characters, testing out different narrative game design tools, just... so many things. At one point I even made a framework for a 3d walking simulator with a model of Evin and flappy cloths and stuff.Honestly, it was fun, and we learned a lot, and it may lead to some amazing projects for us in the future, the far future, but it was all getting in the way of finishing the Longing. The theme for this next year and half will be focus. We will figure out how Evin and Near come together, how S'ruthrul stirs from her dreams, and down what course the fate of Taldun flows. I hope you'll stay with us for this journey. If you want more frequent updates, consider joining our discord:https://discord.gg/ceuuhC6w7PZe
