Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, développé par Infinity Ward et édité par Activision, est sorti le 4 novembre 2016 sur PC, PlayStation 4 et Xbox One. Ce jeu de tir et d'aventure propose trois modes de jeu : Campagne, Multijoueur et Zombies. Dans la Campagne, le joueur incarne le capitaine Reyes, un pilote devenu commandant chargé de mener les dernières forces de la coalition contre un ennemi impitoyable au milieu d'environnements spatiaux extrêmes. Le Multijoueur combine un système de mouvement fluide basé sur la dynamique, des cartes centrées sur l'action, une personnalisation poussée et un système d'armures de combat, avec la possibilité de rejoindre quatre unités d'intervention. Le mode Zombies plonge le joueur dans un parc d'attractions des années 80 peuplé de morts-vivants. Le quatrième pack de DLC, Retribution, ajoute quatre cartes multijoueur et l'expérience coop Zombies « La bête de l'au-delà ». Le jeu utilise le moteur IW engine et la protection Arxan Anti-Tamper, pour une durée de campagne principale d'environ sept heures et demie et un temps de complétioniste de seize heures et demie, au prix de 59,99 euros. Le score Metacritic est de 73 et l'OpenCritic de 75. La presse a salué une expérience de tir sci-fi solide et l'une des expériences les plus uniques du genre en 2016, tandis que certains joueurs regrettent un multijoueur et une campagne décevants mais apprécient le mode Zombies, et d'autres recommandent le titre seulement à petit prix.

« Por mais que esse jogo seja odiado pelos jogadores, eu tenho um carinho muito grande por ele, além de contar gráficos muito bons, uma jogabilidade fluida, história boa, um tema que por mais que não faça juz a franquia COD, assim mesmo ficou bom, eu estou cansado de jogos iguais o tempo todo e esse game quebra essa mononia, você consegue sentir o sentimento da galera que criou o jogo, do amor e paixão que eles transmitiram atrás dessa obra, você sente como é seu sacrificar por uma causa maior que você mesmo, como é dar a vida para salvar aqueles que são indefesos, lutar a vida toda para ter um fim heróico, digno de um capitão de uma frota interestelar, eu adoro esse jogo e a energia que ele transmite, de que existem sim heróis, que não possuem poderes, mas nos protegem, se sentir grande, mesmo sendo tão pequeno, esse jogo é incrivelmente bem feito, caricato, personagens muito bem feitos, o Robô Ethan é literalmente a definição de humanidade e honra, enfim, fica a dica para quem nunca jogou, jogue com o coração e sinta o que o jogo transmite, a mensagem que ele passa, que foi feita com carinho, não apenas como um Call of Duty qualquer, joguei esse jogo e esqueça o resto da franquia, garanto que vocês vão aproveitar da mesma forma que eu. »

The campaign is really underrated, great character development, characters are slightly memorable, fun Campaign main and side missions, solid visuals and graphics, smooth gameplay, strong musical score, creative Zombies mode, unique futuristic setting and cool weapons. Online and local multiplayer is decent. The jetpack mechanism isn't the best, but it's good enough. The problems are is that the campaign is way too short, most multiplayer maps are average and the campaign's main villain is forgettable and doesn't get enough screen time. Overall, COD: Infinite Warfare is a solid FPS game. It doesn't deserve the hate. »
« For me this is the most under-rated campaign in the sc-fi "Warfare" series! Absolutely stunning visuals, cast, dialog and the overall delivery is perfect! Zombie mode is by far my most favorite in any of the COD games! Multiplayer is standard fare at this point and nothing to really write home about but not horrible either. »
