Description (IGDB)

Behold the fierce blend of "Warriors" and "Berserk"! The action of cutting through hundreds of enemies, fundamental to the Warriors series, is fused together with the dark and gruesome atmosphere of the world of "Berserk", making various heretofore unseen acts possible, such as using a giant man-sized sword to cut enemies in half, as well as smash or send them flying with the "Slash" and "Smash" actions.

The Hawk of the Millennium Arc".

Personnages :
En plus du héros principal, Guts, plusieurs autres personnages sont jouables.
Vous profiterez également des voix des acteurs japonais qui ont doublé la trilogie de films et la nouvelle série animée.

A guide to loving Berserk, the manga inspiration for the Souls games

A Panel Shaped Screen is a monthly column where Giada Zavarise explores how comics and video games inspire each other. This week she wants you to try Berserk, a manga inspiration for Dark Souls You might have heard of Berserk already. A few people have pointed out the similarities between Hidetaka Miyazaki s Souls series and the manga Berserk. Perhaps you ve even gotten curious, toyed with the idea of getting into it, but without a clear idea of where to start. Or perhaps you got the impression that Berserk is not for you. You may have heard Berserk is filled with violence, sexual assault, gore, grim characters and questionable content. And for the most part, you would be right. But at its core, Berserk is about love. Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)

CGMagazine 90/100

« Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is amazing. It’s perfect for fans of series, it’s perfect for fans of the Warriors franchise, it’s perfect for gamers looking for a fun “mature” game that isn’t Call of Duty. It’s hard to imagine a manga that filled me with horror so many times, filling me with such joy as a game, but it does. Get this game, if only to open the door to a darker generation of Warriors games. »

Hardcore Gamer 90/100

« The lack of multiplayer holds Berserk and the Band of the Hawk back from being the greatest Omega Force title, but players who are okay with this will find an experience that both captures the soul of the source material as well as one of the purest, most hyperviolent, titles to hit the market. »

TheSixthAxis 90/100

« Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is the pinnacle of musou games, as far as I’m concerned. Omega Force and Koei Tecmo have experimented with the formula for years, and everything they’ve learned and perfected has led up to this game. Berserk Musou gives you the addictive, outrageous hack-and-slash combat musou games have had for ages. It gives you the unique characters and varied mission structures that musou games have only had in the last few years. And on top of that it gives you a gripping, mature, and masterful narrative that a musou game has never had. Until now. »

COGconnected 85/100

« Even though Berserk and the Band of the Hawk isn’t the best way to experience the Berserk story, its story is so in-depth that it would still be a great way to experience it for the first time. »

Destructoid 80/100

« Do you want to slice some demons into little meat chunks as a troubled badass, and perhaps missed out on the great Dreamcast and PS2 renditions of Berserk? Get Band of the Hawk. Seeing the story continue past the Golden Age is enough for an enthusiast to buy in. Otherwise, wait for the price to match what's being offered. »

PlayStation Universe 80/100

« Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is not only one of the best Musou titles to date, it’s the first license to truly fit the mould effortlessly. »

Gaming Nexus 80/100

« Berserk: Band of the Hawk is a pretty good fit for the Dynasty Warriors formula. It keeps up the story's tension with a dramatic mission structure, and doesn't shy away from the source material's mature themes. »

Eurogamer Italy 80/100

« Quotation forthcoming. »

GravelCipher91 7/10

« Decent. Was hyped and hoping for more, but definitely worth your time. Don’t pass it up. »

nerogelion 6/10

« Band of the Hawk exists in a weird purgatory: not a great way to experience Miura's opus, not a great way to experience Dynasty Warriors combat. With middling gameplay that struggles to replicate the heights other licensed entries in the Warriors franchise have, the low-budget retelling of the story proves this series is simply destined for weak, underwhelming adaptations not worth picking up over the manga. »

Arandomcrow 9/10

« I was going to rate this 10/10 but a femboy screwed me over »

FGTdamned 10/10

« fking awesome i liked it i dream about it im bussing rn fr help meee im gonna die »

FBraggy12 6/10

« If you are a fan of both Berserk and the Dynasty Warriors franchise you will love this hack and slash, gore-fest, that stay authentic to the Berserk anime. There is nothing ground breaking about this game, its a hack and slash with spliced in scenes from the Berserk movies, and television series. I enjoyed it because I am a glutton for completion with Dynasty Warriors-esq titles. This game does fix and expand on the television series season two and I am glad it expanded upon how the show left off. There was potential in this game to have countless characters to play as, yet we are limited in size and scope for playable characters. It's depressing that we will never get to play as the Skull Rider, or other characters such as Pippin, and other various generals and apostles from the Anime series. Fun to play, replay ability, just falls short on its potential. »

shootingstars99 0/10

« What happens when you cross Dynasty Warriors with baby's first seinen manga series? Apparently a dumpster fire worse than the worst Kingdom Hearts game... I guess if you are a Berserk fan, your mind can only handle hitting one button repeatedly while fighting the same enemies throughout the same three backgrounds. At least this game serves as a containment of sorts from keeping brain dead idiots from getting into anything of substance and keeps their grubby, Cheeto powdered hands off of actually good franchises... If you like your Tolkien knock offs with ****, **** and more ****, you haven't quite figured out games with two button combat, and you like your main characters that carry around 7 foot long swords because they are compensating for having a short sword where it counts, this might be your game of the year. »

Izago 7/10

« Eu que sou muito fan de Berserk e o considero como melhor anime/manga de todos tive dificuldades no começo para jogar berserk por ser um pouco chato e ultra repetitivo mas para todo fan reviver a historia ou parte dela jogando vai gostar e vai querer se dedicar ao game, Um bom jogo para Fan para quem não é fan deve ser chato demais. »

jelikey 7/10

« First let me emphasize, if you are a fan of musou/dynasty warriors games, you will like this game. If you are not, and are not a fan of Berserk, you most likely won't care for it. There is a reason Dynasty Warriors games are a niche franchise, you either love them or hate them. »
