Yakuza 4 is the fourth game in Sega's crime drama series, known as 'Ryu ga Gotoku' in Japan. As a first for the series, the story is split between the viewpoints of four different protagonists.

Yakuza 4 picks up the story of Yakuza 3 one year later and takes the player back to Tokyo. The story starts when a man is shot to death in the ruling territory of the Tojo Clan, the organization that has featured in all games in the series to date. A small gang which belongs to Tojo Clan try to establish what happened and their leader is soon found stabbed to death. These events cause a heated battle between four men over money, power, status and honor. The truth becomes apparent as the lies, betrayals and entwined stories are revealed and when these 4 unflinching men get together, the new legend of Kamurocho is born.

2010, Tokyo. Un tir fuse dans le quartier rouge, et la ville se retrouve submergée par le fracas et les désirs humains. Cela n'aurait dû être qu'un ""accident comme un autre""... mais l'arrivée de cette femme et de son destin tragique a changé la donne. Comme des insectes attirés par la lumière, des acteurs du monde criminel de la capitale se pressent les uns après les autres autour du ""yakuza légendaire"", Kazuma Kiryu.
Dans les destins entrecroisés de ces quatre hommes se profile le scénario d'une façon de vivre violente et passionnée.
Pour la première fois dans la série, vous pouvez incarner de nombreux protagonistes, pour une histoire et des combats plus riches que jamais. Trois nouveaux protagonistes à la personnalité unique marqueront l'histoire avant sa conclusion.

Ce jeu m'a appris qu'avoir 4 protagonistes fait littéralement tomber l'argent du ciel. Je suis un homme meilleur aujourd'hui.
l'histoire et les personnage reste trés bon est bien écrit j'était trés sceptique par rapport aux fait quill y est quatre perssonage principal mais le jeux a trés bien réussi a nous les faire aimer, bon aux niveau du gameplay le jeu est pas trés bie...
Encore une fois, la grande trame principale déçoit. L’histoire est…comment dire :cheesy et gênante, mais pas dans le bon sens. La fin du jeu est bourrée des mêmes vieux clichés de la série (ben oui tout le monde se met torse-nu pour se battre au somm...
C'est le seul jeu de la série qui m'à pour l'instant fait considérer le platine et regretté de le finir. Évidemment il partage beaucoup de défauts en commun avec les précédents jeux de sa série. Un équilibrage parfois discutable, un système de comba...

« ehhh, rubber bullets are you kidding ..... nice characters bad story. it introduces saejimas, tanimura and akiyama , 2 of which are returning characters in the series, but the story was not good, kiryu was dragged in for like no reason, and the game play was not good, unless you played someone like saejima or kiryu, who were the only gameplay i kind of enjoyed, it felt wonky, i just didnt like this game, good soundtrack though i guess »
