Yakuza 3 is the third chapter in the Yakuza series, renowned for its authentic, gritty, and often violent look at modern Japan. Making its first appearance exclusively on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, the rich story and vibrant world of Yakuza 3 let players engage in intense brutal clashes within the streets of Okinawa and the vibrant and often dangerous city of Tokyo, where only the strongest will survive.
Histoire (IGDB)
The Yakuza wars are spreading over to the tropical paradise of Okinawa. After leaving his last base in Kamimuro Chou, Kiryuu Kazuma went to Okinawa and opened an orphanage named Asagao with Haruka. Together with the children, they have taken in, the two slowly let go of the violent lives they have led prior to their arrival. However, the happy days are short-lived for the Yakuza are tightly connected with the Japanese government. A shady deal that involves the land on which Asagao is built spurs Kiryuu and Haruka back to their old hometown and fights with oppositional Yakuza groups. Fights and political intrigue come hand in hand, become the rising dragon and protect the sanctuary you have built.

Un an après la guerre ouverte entre le Kanto et le Kansai, Kazuma Kiryu et Haruka Sawamura comptent oublier leur passé lié à Kamurocho en s'occupant de l'orphelinat Morning Glory, sur l'île d'Okinawa. Malgré ses efforts, le passé de Kiryu le poursuit et l'orphelinat se retrouve bientôt au centre d'une lutte de pouvoir entre le clan Tojo et le monde de la politique.
Ainsi commence une histoire incroyable se déroulant dans la ""ville qui ne dort jamais"" de Kamurocho à Tokyo ainsi que sur l'île tropicale d'Okinawa. Kiryu parviendra-t-il à sauver les enfants de l'orphelinat des menaces qui les guettent depuis les profondeurs du monde criminel et de la politique ?

« i love this game with all my heart, it hurts me to put it on 6, but man the controls are horrible!!!, and the enemies are on super hard for no reason »
« New setting, new characters. I enjoyed this game a lot, not because of the plot but more because of the characters in the orphanage and your friends in Okinawa, it feels like living in some paradise island except it is tainted with corruption and yakuza plotting to take everything for you. The remastered graphics look decent enough, but you can tell this is an old game because of the very cranky animations and gameplay. Still had a good time though. »
« Ps3 and xbox 360 version is way better than the remastered because it doesn't have the double framerate,causing double heat drain, double speed enemy turning,and double everything that could be against you. »
« Worst one by far. The fighting is so stiff and the first few hours of the game are really slow. Ngl all these games kind of mix together when it comes to the story, but I don't recall being wowed by this one. Just remember the annoying fights. »
« Peut-on m'expliquer quel est l'intêret de changer complétement l'interface du jeu (le menu ressemble à un utilitaire DOS pour modifier son bios) , et la customisation des compétences est trés moche et hasardeuse. Parlons des personnages , les graphismes sont dans les choux, les personnages mal animés, on doit frôlé la densité de population de 200 personnes / m2, aprés avoir joué a yakuza kiwami 2 , qui était trés franchement magifique, là c'est la grosse décéption . Enfin, j'imagine qu'il a dû y avoir une restriction budgétaire chez Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, où bien ce sont les stagiaires qui ont développé le jeu. mdr »
