À propos du jeu

You wake up in an abandoned space station. Alone. GO.

  • Who: You. Just you. All by yourself.
  • What: You're trying to find a way out.
  • When: Depends on who you ask.
  • Where: An abandoned space station.
  • Why: Be honest – do we ever know why?
  • How: Find clues. Solve a puzzle. Get scared. Get out.

We Went Back is roughly a 30-50 minute experience. Here's what we love about it:

Dynamically Changing Environments

You can experience multiple changes within the space station's environment. The devil is in the details.

Escape Room Style Gameplay

Love escape rooms? So do we! There are clues to find and a puzzle to solve. The environment holds the key.

70's Inspired Retro-Futuristic Art Style

Everything is influenced by that old-school space aesthetic we all love, from each poster all the way down to the teensiest decal.

There's a Rat

We have a rat. No, you cannot pet him but he’s loved nonetheless.

Y-Axis Inversion Patch Now Live! - 1.07

Hello everybody! Thanks for all your support and feedback! A quick reminder that our Discord is now live: https://discord.gg/EUHX9SD This patch introduces Y-Axis Inversion, once you get into the game just open up the menu with ESC and the toggle should be under the Options. The following fixes and changes have also been included: There were numerous ways to permanently crouch, which could break progression. These should all be fixed. The cryo door can no longer be clipped through. Some clipping on a few environment objects have been cleaned up. Something's changed with the cryotubes. And is now more in line with the backstory. The biggest bugs have now been handled, and we're working on cleaning up the rest and continuing to polish things as we find them. We also have some ideas for a few content updates in the near future, so keep an eye out for that! Once again, we're watching reviews, forums, and social media closely and taking your feedback and suggestions all under consideration!

Performance Patch Now Live! - 1.06

Hello all! Thanks once again for all the support! A quick reminder that our Discord is now live: https://discord.gg/EUHX9SD This patch has a handful of performance enhancements mostly related to the loading between loops. In addition, the following fixes have occured (Note: They're all a little spoilery): 1. Some polaroids were appearing on the board out of order. 2. Dying over and over again now acts appropriately, and doesn't make the game bug out. 3. Dying in some repeating sections would cause all but the first two repeating rooms to contain the clue. 4. A bunch of unused maps and files have been cleaned out, resulting in some minor performance improvements and less hard drive space in use. Once again, we're watching reviews, forums, and social media closely and taking your feedback and suggestions all under consideration! We've got a decent backlog of bugs and small features in the works, so keep an eye out for future patches!
