Vanishing Point est un jeu de course développé par Clockwork Games Limited et édité par Acclaim Entertainment, paru le 4 janvier 2001 sur PlayStation et Dreamcast. Il se présente comme un titre de course arcade où le joueur affronte le chronomètre et la circulation, proposant une variété de véhicules allant des SUV aux Viper, un mode de cascades ainsi que des épreuves dans les Alpes suisses.
Le jeu a reçu un score agrégé de 50,40. Sur le plan critique, la presse a relevé certaines particularités : le site Dreamcast HQ a ainsi souligné que la principale différence avec d'autres jeux de course réside dans l'intelligence artificielle adaptative, les autres voitures ne suivant pas systématiquement le même tracé et pouvant couper les virages. AllDreamcast a pour sa part conseillé de résister à l'envie d'abandonner, assurant que le joueur s'en félicitera. De leur côté, des joueurs sur Metacritic ont partagé des avis positifs, décrivant Vanishing Point comme un grand jeu sous-estimé et l'un des meilleurs jeux de course sur Dreamcast, mettant en avant son fun et la qualité de ses graphismes, tandis qu'un autre a jugé le titre correct dans l'ensemble mais un peu en deçà du comparable MSR.

« Vanishing Point is great, underrated game, and one of the best racing games you can find on the Dreamcast. It is fun to play, the graphics are good and the controls, which is the most important thing in a racing game, are good. There is also a lot of tracks, unlockable content and cars, so you surely won't get easily bored. The difficulty is a bit high up, but once you get used to the gameplay, the game is quite enjoyable. In conclusion, Vanishing Point is a great racing game on where you can't find many bad things. If you have a Dreamcast, you should totally get it. »
