Forza Motorsport, développé par Turn 10 Studios et édité par Xbox Game Studios, est sorti le 10 octobre 2023 sur PC et Xbox Series X|S. Ce titre de course et de simulation sportive, propulsé par le moteur ForzaTech, propose un mode carrière intitulé Championnat des constructeurs où le joueur peut remporter plus de 800 améliorations de performances et affronter une intelligence artificielle retouchée. On y pilote plus de 500 voitures réelles, dont plus de 100 inédites, sur 27 circuits comme Brands Hatch, Daytona, le Nordschleife ou Sebring, avec un passage du temps dynamique et des conditions météo variables. Le multijoueur repose sur un règlement géré par l'IA, des stratégies de pneus et de carburant, ainsi que des niveaux de pilote et de sécurité, et le jeu prend en charge le cross-play et le cross-save entre PC et console.
L'accueil critique s'est révélé favorable dans l'ensemble, le Daily Star saluant un titre « beautiful, brilliant to play » qui « tops the podium », tandis que Player 2 a décrit une expérience « welcoming, encouraging » pour tous les niveaux. Certains joueurs sur Metacritic regrettent toutefois une intelligence artificielle décevante et des pénalités problématiques, ou estiment le jeu incomplet pour un sommet du sim racing, quand d'autres sur Steam mentionnent simplement prendre du plaisir en carrière et en ligne malgré des imperfections. Forza Motorsport affiche un score de 84 sur Metacritic et OpenCritic, pour une note agrégée de 83,89, et est proposé au prix de 69,99 euros.

« Honestly, the game is very good, but it's missing so many things to be considered a top sim racing title. The AI of the drivers is the worst, the penalties are even worse, and in online mode, some players are aggressive and not everyone takes it seriously. It would be best if they paid more attention to their community. »

So few tracks available, a severe lack of identity, no music, no atmosphere, the menus are so “dry.” And the races clearly don't earn enough credits for Career mode. What's more, it's a very, very bad idea to have track trials and then let the player choose their starting position—it makes no sense. »
