Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

Gameplay de Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

Console Monster 98/100

« This is a great shooter, perhaps the best we have had this year, so far, and it is definitely a game that is looking to be on my top 5 list of games for 2012. We have been lucky to have some great titles come out this year and we still have some exciting titles on the release schedule too, but don't make an error and miss this gem. I really hope we get a third game in this series. »

GamingTrend 94/100

« I'm stunned by just how much fun Fall of Cybertron is. This isn't a game that will redefine the genre or anything else hyperbolic in nature. What it is, however, is a tremendous amount of fun. »

Worth Playing 92/100

« I found very little not to like about Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, which is superior to its predecessor in every way. It still felt a bit short, but it looks better, it plays better and it even feels better. »

Gaming Age 91/100

« Fall of Cybertron feels like an actual love letter to the series, and puts the right amount of emphasis on individual characters and their traits and mixes that with levels that make use of those particular skills and abilities. It's just a real joy to play, and I'm glad to have in my hands an actual, fun Transformers experience in video game form. »

Game Informer 90/100

« Even if it's not the deepest interactive experience, Fall of Cybertron is certainly one of the most enthusiastic and boisterous digital adventures you'll have this year. »

Polygon 90/100

« The disappointment of flying - or driving - solo notwithstanding, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron's relentless iteration on its own design and its constantly expanding scope set it apart from other third-person shooters. »

G4 TV 90/100

« The real strength of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is how expertly High Moon leverages the characters and mythology to create a cinematic shooter that stands on the strength of its design and gameplay, rather than leaning on its license as a crutch. »

AtomicGamer 90/100

« Transformers: Fall of Cybertron won't likely garner many Game of the Year awards since it just slightly misses the mark on a few key points, but what it does bring is some serious passion for a great property. What's important this time around is that Activision allowed High Moon to see that through with a big budget and the time needed to polish things up. »

« "Fall of Cybertron" is an improvement over its predecessor "War for Cybertron". It has more of a "Gears of War" vibe to it. The story mode was expanded upon and has more of a cinematic presentation. And new gameplay elements were added to the horde mode "Escalation". Unfortunately, unlike "War", the story mode cannot be played cooperatively online. It's single player only. Still, "Fall" is one of the best "Transformer" games. I'd rate it with an 8.5 out of 10. »

« The game is cool but I didn't like the design of the robots and vehicles... I also missed more destruction and not hiding robot corpses »

JpaHerculano 7/10

« Before I start this, let me say that I absolutely love this game. The campaign is jaw-dropping, and the multiplayer was incredible. These are just my minor gripes I want to express, as it was supposed to be better than War for Cybertron in every way. Though the servers have been shutdown since 2020, so you'll only be able to play campaign if you buy it, sadly. Campaign levels feel a lot more scripted compared to WFC, and combat situations feel fewer overall. Aswell as that, the game can get ridiculously easy on subsequent playthroughs with the addition of a shop allowing you to buy weapon upgrades that range from useless to overpowered. It feels weird to browse through a Cybertronian Amazon during a war. Although on first playthrough the campaign feels amazing, it isn't nearly as replayable as War for Cybertron. Escalation was also a massive letdown. It's limited to 15 waves, unlike War for Cybertron's unlimited waves. To me, this defeats the whole purpose of escalation, that being to survive as long as possible. You can also only choose from four pre-set characters rather than any character on the faction, and each character only has one ability. An overall downgrade. Multiplayer was a step-up in regards to maps, gameplay, and especially customization. Maps were bigger and more colorful than WFC, there were hundreds of potential cosmetic combinations, and guns all felt fairly balanced and weighty. There definitely were some missed opportunities, but overall a great experience. My review on escalation and multiplayer don't matter now as the servers have shutdown and all attempted server revivals have failed. Overall, I believe it's worth it to experience the campaign, but don't expect to be able to replay it as much as WFC or play escalation or multiplayer at all. »

« I absolutely adored this game years ago. However, it only takes until the near the end of the game how boring it can be. The story is okay, the graphics are cool, but I wouldn’t recommend playing the game twice. This is one of those games you can only play once. It’s not terrible, I don’t think it’s a bad game, it just has repetitive gameplay. »

« this is one of the best transformers games of all time ,the history is good as the character developed ,the graphics are excellent too »

PalpetineSheev 8/10

« A game that works for fans of all transformers persuasions. The variety of characters, abilities, locations, and the different strategies you have to take for every mission make every section feel incredibly fresh and new. »
