« Revolutionary for its time.Strengths: highly atmospheric, a vast futuristic dark world, an excellent dark storyline featuring one of the "best" villains ever to appear in a PC game, and great gameplay that successfully combined elements from FPS, adventure, and beat-'em-up genres. A fantastic concept regarding reincarnation.Fantastic **** me, the best game of the 90s and 2000s! »
« So many great ideas and a real masterpiece of it's time. The Controls are not good for modern devices, but it is still a lot of fun. You want an adventure with many twists? Omikron welcomes you. You want a Tekken Style Fighting Game? Kay'l will teach you some tricks. You like First Person Shooters? Well, it exists with controls from hell. You want your soul **** into a game? This literally is the premise of The Nomad Soul »
« In 1999 it was WAY ahead of the time. What an atmosphere, what a world design. David Bowie <3 »
« Until "Cyberpunk 2077" - "Omikron : The Nomad Soul" was for more than 20 years leading game on my top list ( and it's quite not a short one ). Of course it is not a match for nowdays games by graphics and gameplay, but well - Omikron's story is something which every real RPG gamer should experience. Somewhat I really look on Omikron like very old brother of Cyberpunk 2077. »

« This is the most atmospheric and memorable game I've played. During the year of 2000 it was no doubt the best. Now, not sure, but it has it all. Music, characters, interesting plot, exploration element, different types of controls, fps/arcade/3rd person RPG. I see people complaining about elements like plot, controls and such, but I enjoyed it great deal and continue to do. Only the save game system I liked not, because it doesn't let you to save infinitely, you have to gather some "rings" to be able to save. »
« David Cage, you've done it again, and after this game, you will continue to do it, in several other games »
« This is not a game... it's an experience. If you'll play this, you won't ever forget this. I mean it in a good way and a bad way. Let's talk about good stuff... the soundtrack is magical, the graphics are old, but that is expected from a 1999 game, but the design is just amazing. Everything looks surreal and out of place... at least to me and I love it. Also David Bowie is in the game. He might be dead in the real world, but he's alive and well in Omikron, so that's that. The story makes no sense and the gameplay is horrid... it actually causes pain. Especially the fights with bosses... what an atrocity. To me this is a good example of a wasted potential. Here's a game that had a living city full of people and cars in 3D long before GTA 3 with amazing art style and atmosphere, but thanks to ridiculous plot and awful gameplay it all falls short and becomes a big mess... this is a game that everyone should try out and see for themselves if it's good or not. I'm a big fan of the atmosphere of this game, so I won't rate it bad, because for the most of the time I had fun, but I won't forget the frustration that this game caused me and lack of rationality in certain parts of the game. Play it yourself motherhugger. Pickens approves! »
