The Italian Job is a video game based on the 1969 film of the same name. The game features a story mode based on the movie, and a multiplayer "party" mode where players compete through several different circuits in London and Turin, as well as a single player practice mode where the player can develop skills needed for completing the story mode.

« YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE the audio options in this game. I dont want to see anyone complain about there being no tutorial, my man, watch the movie. This game is so much like the movie, here are the top 10 most movie like things: 1. Game name, just like the movie this game has the name "The Italian Job". 2. The physics are just like in the movie, the cars can do one sided wheelies. 3. GABAGOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLL Yeah so main critique, where is ryan gossling (me), where is steve carell and mark wahlberg (in his racist phase, aka his current phase)? »
« Realmente me apena tener que escribir esta reseña. Verán, este era uno de los pocos juegos que yo tenía de pequeño en mi play 2. Yo tenía muy buenos recuerdos de mi niñez pero al rejugarlo en la actualidad me he dado cuenta de que el juego no es muy bueno que digamos. Voy a empezar mencionando lo peor de este juego en mi opinión. Bueno, el juego tiene bastantes modos de juego, pero entre ellos se encuentra uno que ha conseguido ganarse un gran odio por mi parte, así es, me refiero a las pistas de acrobacias. En este modo de juego hay muchas cosas que están realmente mal, como por ejemplo, las veces en que pierdes un nivel porque los límites del mapa están mal delimitados y las muertes por salirse del límite del mapa (directamente esta mecánica está mal planteada de base porque literalmente hay un botón que te permite recolocar el coche en una posición en la que puedas continuar tu recorrido), las colisiones y físicas de los coches con los objetos (esto no solo aplica para este modo de juego pero igualmente lo menciono), y el sistema de notas, el cual te obliga a hacerlo todo ridículamente bien si es que quieres tan siquiera superar el nivel (este sistema también está mal planteado). Ahora que ya he soltado toda la bilis que tenía acumulada, vayamos con el resto del juego. El modo historia no está mal que digamos, narra exactamente lo que pasa en la película y las misiones se basan básicamente en ir de punto A a punto B en tu coche con pequeñas variaciones entre misiones (ya sea porque estés envuelto en una persecución o en una carrera), y luego están los modos de carrera y de conducción libre (El nombre explica a los modos por completo). Estos modos son mejorables en ciertos aspectos, como el tráfico super estorboso entre otros problemas, pero realmente llegan a hacer que no considere que el juego sea malo como tal, solo pienso que tiene muchos puntos mejorables. Decir esto realmente me duele, porque yo llegué a disfrutar muchísimo este juego en mi infancia, pero ya veo que de niño no tenía demasiado criterio en videojuegos. 5.8/10 »
