South Park: The Fractured But Whole
South Park: The Fractured But Whole

« Well worth the wait. Building off of the massive success of The Stick of Truth, Fractured But Whole has an incredibly satisfying combat system that leaves you constantly eager for the next fight, exemplary and natural dialogue from everyone in town, and a truly epic soundtrack. »
« If you are or ever was a fan of the show, you absolutely can’t go wrong with The Fractured But Whole. Licensed games have come such a long way and I’m so happy to see the time and effort put in to a franchise like this and it truly pays off in the end. So warm up with a shake weight, rock out to some Lorde, put on your favorite Columbus costume, maybe snack on a little Crème fraîche (enough Randy references?) and enjoy one of the best licensed games of all time. »
« South Park: The Fractured But Whole is loaded with toilet humor and enough F bombs to make Andrew Dice Clay and Sam Kinison blush, but anyone following South Park over the past twenty years should be expecting that. »
« South Park The Fractured But Whole is as good as it is humorous. And that says a lot about the quality of the game. »
« South Park balances ample fan service with gameplay that stands on its own merits and an engaging story. It won't make you a fan if you weren't one already, but it's hard to imagine a better-realized adaptation. »
« Much like a shart, The Fractured but Whole continues to surprise as the game of superheroes goes darker and cruder than anything else the kids of South Park have experienced. »
« A sequel that every true South Park fan should play. »
« Surrounding the fart jokes and fourth graders who love to say f.ck a lot, there is a brutally intelligent comedic commentary on many aspects of modern society. It’s something that South Park has always been great at, and something that translates incredibly well to interactivity. »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« This one gets a solid 8 because it does everything a good sequel of a video game does, it adds new mechanics in comparison to the first one and a whole new idea to the table when it come to the theme of the game, improves in combat making it a lil bit more strategic and also harder, also adds a whole new roster of different classes to choose all of them really different from the others making combat more variable, the story line is good and it feels like a whole season special of the show, I do gotta say this game is a lil bit less “South Park” than the first part when it comes in how outrageous the jokes are, the first part definitely crossed multiple lines that this one didn’t even though of, although still feels like South Park comedy a good one this game just like the first one would give you hard laughs more than once, my only cons of this game is that even tho I enjoyed it, it felt kind of long and there’s a lot of walking »
« [SPOILER ALERT: This review contains spoilers.] »
« The combat and music are done well, and they went to town with the presentation here, but the writing is significantly worse than its predecessor. The Stick of Truth felt more in line with South Park’s dark and offensive humor. This one felt more sanitized in both gameplay and story. It’s still worth giving it a whirl. Not a bad game at all. »
« South Park: The Fractured But Whole is an outstanding RPG that perfectly captures the show’s outrageous humor and style, making you feel like you’re playing through an extended, interactive episode. The grid-based combat system is a big step up from the first game, adding strategy without sacrificing fun or pacing. The writing is consistently hilarious and packed with clever references and ridiculous moments only South Park could pull off. Visually, it’s spot-on, looking exactly like the TV series, with excellent voice acting from the original cast. With tons of customization, side quests, and collectibles, there’s plenty to do, and the experience stays fresh and entertaining all the way through. It’s easily one of the best licensed games ever made, earning a strong 9 out of 10. »
« Graphics & exploration are more refined. Customazation is more expansive. Difficulty is higher. Plot is worse being much longer & more nonsensical. Combat isn't better, but different. »
« A comparably worse game than Stick of Truth, but not much worse. The show's writing and tone are still carried over with aplomb, but what is on display here was mostly done better in this game's predecessor. Still, the slight improvements to gameplay are a welcome change, and while the narrative is a bit spastic and hard to follow, this game is an overall solid follow-up to Stick of Truth. It is unfortunate that this game has to live in its predecessor's shadow, as it might have been perceived as a better game had the former not knocked it out of the park in terms of presentation. »
« Just as good as the first game, but in different ways. South Park: The Fractured But Whole was one of the most funny games I've played, and besides the complicated ending, everything about this game in amazing. The gameplay's great, it's hilarious, and is one of the greatest RPG games of all time. »
