Rise of Kingdoms est un jeu de stratégie développé et publié par Lilith Games, disponible depuis le 21 septembre 2018 sur les plateformes Android et iOS. Du côté des retours de joueurs sur Metacritic, les avis sont contrastés. Certains regrettent une expérience difficile, comme le traduit cette citation exacte : « So far this game has been a soul crushing, time consuming, money wasting experience. « So far this game has been a soul crushing, time consuming, money wasting experience. It’s fixed in so many ways. I probably won’t be allowed to post them all. But the developers don’t seem to care about the events that get fixed like the mightiest governor event. And right now I am currently not allowed to participate in the Now or never event because my current kingdom that I just migrated to has forbidden the use of speed ups. To learn how to play the game I was told multiple times to watch YouTube videos. YouTube creators repeatedly mention the use of blue stacks. So I was using that when I first started playing because this game is not a macOS friendly game. The developers sent me emails about cheating and botting, neither of which I knew how to do at that point in time I was just trying to use something that would make it easier to play on my computer. But I find the interface almost unusable most of the time. And the YouTube creators, the claim to be partnered with rise of kingdoms and mention using blue stacks either need edit their videos to reflect the rise of kingdoms no longer allows the use of blue stacks, or rise of kingdoms needs to do something to reflect that the people who are making these videos are not actually partnered with rise of Kingdoms. This is not an enjoyable game when the leadership of your kingdom threatens to zero you and undo all of your efforts of months of work. I want to write more, but I’m afraid that this review will get deleted like the last one I was just writing. But I am a hare’s breath away from quitting this game. I can’t even upload this review into the App Store. I don’t know if that’s something to do with the game or with the Mac App Store itself, but it sure seems suspicious that if you’re critical of this game that your review doesn’t get posted. Even my review here… I can’t use the word to describe like the action that a vacuum does? So I edited my review to say that it was time-consuming and it’s still edited out. But I have had alliance leaders expect me to report in every day and if I don’t do so, then I am effectively in trouble. I’m a 45-year-old woman and I’m not in elementary school; and so there shouldn’t be emails from my alliance leaders about unexcused absences. People are constantly saying it’s just a game… If it were just a game, then there wouldn’t be constant threats of being zeroed. »
