"Raindrop Sprinters" is a retro fixed-screen action game where you run across passages while avoiding the rain.
Move left and right. Press a button for slow-motion.
The controls are simple, but the game is filled with fun secrets!
You'll need to make risky plays to find them.
First, try running non-stop to the goal four times!
This game has four different game modes.
- Standard: Just avoid the rain
- Customize: Choose your own items and obstacles
- Onrush: Enjoy playing with slow-motion
- Maverick: Keep catching the rain
Get the hang of each mode and aim for one million points!
Reach the goal five times at the max level to see the ending!

⚠️ SPOILER WARNING! This post contains spoilers about a hidden element in DELTARUNE. If you haven’t cleared Chapter 4 yet, or if you want to discover everything for yourself, please stop reading now! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Still with me? Alright then… you sure? Okay, here we go. First, take a look at this image — it’s from a hidden mini-game in Chapter 4 called “PULEY.” Doesn’t it… feel familiar somehow!? I’ve also made a comparison video, so please check that out too! Yes — I still can’t believe it myself, but there’s an homage to my game Raindrop Sprinters inside DELTARUNE! If you look closely, the game description even includes the words “shoe, hey” and “sprint,” which seem like a nod to my name (Shuhei Miyazawa) and the title of my game!And to top it all off… the tweet where I posted about this got a like from Toby Fox himself!! 😭I had the chance to share Raindrop Sprinters with Toby Fox once before, and when he replied, “It’s fun!” I was so overjoyed. But this time? This goes way beyond what I can even comprehend. I mean… this kind of thing doesn’t happen, right? We’re talking about a game that represents the best of the best — and inside it is an homage to my game. It was so surreal, I couldn’t sleep that night. It’s been nearly two years since Raindrop Sprinters was released (Switch ver launched in Aug 2023), and yet I’m lucky enough to be sharing such huge news even now. Hearing people say “What a great game!” and “I’m a fan of yours!” in response to this… it’s beyond words. I’m truly, deeply grateful. Raindrop Sprinters is a tiny little game, but it holds everything I had to give. It’s the culmination of my life up to that point, in game form. And while it took me a long time to feel this way, I can finally say: I’m proud of it. I owe that to everyone who played the game. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. By the way — in Chapter 3 of DELTARUNE, there’s also an homage to Megane, a game made by my friend Amaya from Studio Pixel! That blew my mind, too!Toby Fox, thank you so, so much for bringing us into the world of DELTARUNE!!! …Oh, and actually — I’ve just started working on a new game...

« Raindrop Sprinters is as pure an arcade experience as one could wish for, its base simplicity underpinned by a deep scoring game that can be approached in a variety of ways, ultimately presenting a bottomless reflex-based affair that will wash out the impatient and reward the dedicated in a shower of euphoria. It’s not a game for everyone and will hold little appeal or longevity for the vast majority, but it does what it does well, and its construction is a little bit clever. When you reach that moment of dodging zen, where you’re weaving those drops against impossible odds, you run a real risk of just-one-more-go addiction. »
