Concernant l'accueil critique, les opinions diffèrent. Nintendic a salué l'expérience en écrivant que « Rabbids Lab is a novel idea that works really well as part of Rabbids Go Home – it provides a nice distraction to the main game and compliments its zaniness. R… ». À l'opposé, l'Official Nintendo Magazine UK a qualifié le titre de « blatant cash-in on Rabbids Go Home » dans son numéro de janvier 2010.
