OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast features 15 unique cars, the most ever seen in any OutRun game. In addition to the ten cars from OutRun 2 SP, new models include the 550 Barchetta, F355 Spider, Superamerica, 328 GTS, and the Ferrari F430. Some models cannot be unlocked on the PlayStation Portable or PlayStation 2 without the use of the cross-system connectivity feature inherent of the two systems.

« Ferraris, long drifts and amazing environments. Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast should be played by anyone who wants to chill in a calm and entertaining racing game. The car list might not be big, but you will be driving 15 unique Ferraris through beaches, mountains, countrysides and cities, along with your blonde girlfriend next to you at all times. The soundtrack is amazing, iconic music tracks remastered for the game, along with remixes of such songs and some extra ones to make the list even better and longer. This title must have some of the most original and fun game modes, such as “Heart Attack Mode”, “Don’t Lose your Girlfriend”, different race variations and a career mode which you can play to win “Outrun Miles”, the main currency of the game, letting you spend it on cars, music tracks, stages and car colors. Gameplay is quite simple, and the same applies for the physics, which are programmed for you to engage very long, but cool drifts through tight corners. 30 stages to drive through, which can be all explored by Outrun Mode, 15 continuous mode(a game mode that puts you to race on one of the two stage stacks present in the game), or, if you want to practice on a single stage, you can purchase them individually on the: “Coast 2 Coast Market” in exchange of “Outrun Miles”, letting the player learn the stages freely and at their own pace. Definitely, Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast is a game worth playing on any of its versions, and speaking of that, the PS2 version here has some of the best graphics I have seen on the system. An amazing game anyone should play at least once, either for nostalgia or entertainment. »
