Not a change I'm opposed to, but the gameplay is very clunky and awkward in this one, lacking the polish that the other hack and slash/action RPG titles had. « As a huge Neptunia fan that ownes all their games and all remakes, this is disappointing, and i feel truly scammed at 70$ calling this a PS5 game is a genuine scam, and IF has lost a Fan i will not buy games like this from them again at full price. combat is so trash i was killing lv 80 enemies by not looking at the screen mashing square at level 37. all side quests are rng, get number of items or kill number of enemies, that spawn randomly these usually popup after the dungeon so you have to go back. Game has 4 dungeon design that rotate an change very slightly, they look randomly generated.. then there is a random large city with nothing in it, for no reason.. feels like they just slapped together leftover assets that don't fit together and called it a day. Runs at 30 fps on ps5 with serious stutter while looking like a vita title with a fan made texture pack, Sony needs to be better at what companies can call a ps5 title as this does nothing that a ps3 cant do, and definitely nothing that is unique the ps5 has to offer. game took me 40h to platinum and i was sitting in the menu 20h waiting for disc creation to complete as it took 10 min each time so its around 20h with post game.. if you are a Neptunia fan buy at 20$ and it's meh but ok but at 70$ NO! insulting to fans. »

« My god even by 90s standards this game wouldve been trash. Constant stuttering and boring combat. The code for this game in Unity is utter spaghetti. And the devs not knowing unity at all is clearly showing. As for the ONE 10 rating, look at the username. Clearly a paid / fake review made specifically just to have a green vote. Forget textures that look 30 years old Forget the horrid combat that even the first ever neptunia did better in. The game isn't even playable, all because these clown devs don’t understand unity This game should’ve been 120 fps-240 on PS5, its demand is so pathetically low. Instead its barely 30 and stutters and freezes every time something dies. Do not enable this company for a single cent. Absolutely shameful release on something that could’ve been good. Devs need to at LEAST hold the game up to atellier ryza 2 standards, at minimum, when it comes to making old textures look good AND run good. If this came out in the 90s i would STILL give it a 0.
