NBA 2K8
NBA 2K8, neuvième opus de la franchise NBA 2K, est un jeu de simulation sportive développé par Visual Concepts et publié par Take-Two Interactive et 2K Sports. Sorti le 2 octobre 2007 sur PlayStation 3 et Xbox 360, il succède à NBA 2K7 et précède NBA 2K9, avec Chris Paul en athlète de couverture. Le jeu a été bien accueilli à sa sortie, la critique saluant principalement les détails esthétiques, les animations des joueurs, les modes de jeu et la jouabilité globale, tout en regrettant certaines incohérences défensives et tendances de jeu irréalistes. La presse a salué sa qualité, Game Almighty évoquant « facilement le meilleur jeu de basket sur le marché cette année » et NZGamer jugeant le titre « supérieur au jeu de l'an dernier de presque toutes les façons ». Des joueurs sur Metacritic ont pour leur part estimé que le jeu était « fantastique » dans l'ensemble et regretté qu'il soit sous-estimé par une partie des fans. L'aggregat de notes s'établit à 80,00.

« Not a bad NBA 2K game. I feel like this games gets overlooked by many basketball/2K fans for some reason. Would have given it a 10 had they not gotten rid of 24/7 mode from 2K7. »
