A lovely SCI-FI archaeological post-apocalyptic adventure. In the 50th century, the great humankind achievements, such as pyramids or Humphrey Bogart’s movies, were completely forgotten. Henry and his nerdy team of archaeologists have been working hard for years, on the ground, digging treasures with the extremely rare hallmark “Made in China” and watching weird Indiana Jones documentaries. Until some dog-looking God came to ruin everything.

It is the year 5000, and the greatest achievements in human history are forgotten. The pyramids, the Mona Lisa, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air – forgotten. Forgotten by everyone except Henry Dijon and his ragtag team of archaeologists. They left Mars to dig up lost treasures on the wild and inhospitable Planet Earth. Life is sweet, until Henry’s professor is kidnapped, and thing start to get... weird. Join Henry on a freewheeling adventure through the ruins of our civilization. Ask questions like, “Who was this Sony Walkman? And where did he walk?” Unearth extraordinary relics, rescue Professor Totel, and be the first to enter the legendary city of Mutropolis. One more thing - the gods of ancient Egypt are real and they’re trying to destroy humanity. - Have fun!

The classic point-and-click has a wonderful balance between story and puzzles and really won me over after a short time. It's tricky and challenging, but not impossible to solve. It is hard for me to avoid spoliers this time, as there are so many nice and funny moments that make the game really good for me and that I just want to share. 'Mutropolis' is quiet and comical rather than action packed and more detective game than Indiana Jones story. It really manages to surprise and delight with good ideas. Definitely already a small adventure highlight for me this year."

Oubliées de tous, SAUF d’Henry Dijon et de son équipe hétéroclite d’archéologues, qui décident un jour de quitter Mars pour aller à la recherche de ces trésors perdus sur la lointaine, sauvage et inhospitalière planète Terre. Tout se passe bien, jusqu’au moment où le professeur d’Henry est enlevé et que les choses commencent à prendre une tournure pour le moins... bizarre.
Rejoignez Henry dans cette aventure en roue libre à travers les ruines de notre civilisation. Posez des questions comme « Qui pouvait bien être ce "Sony Walkman" et pourquoi marchait-il ? », mettez au jour des reliques extraordinaires, secourez le professeur Totel et soyez le premier à pénétrer dans la légendaire cité de Mutropolis !

« Good enough game. I really like the art style (reminds me a lot of Broken Age), but I detest those stupid flash game animations. They're also super stiff in this game, and there aren't many. You know, the generic empty hand movement when you use an item? Yeah, there's a lot of that. Good voice acting, very convincing. Puzzles are quite good so far, with puzzle chains and more puzzles available at the same time so you can switch at your leisure. Although... some are memory-related and force you to go back to locations to check stuff again if you forgot a step (no, the main character doesn't take notes), I encountered another one that I solved by chance because the item wasn't collectable the first time I found it and it changed its significance later on [the folder with the paycheck], and I'm finding that the game is actually really hard. But here's the thing... PIXEL HUNTING. Yeah, there's no highlight key. I don't want to comment this issue further, I bloody hate it and pixel hunt shouldn't exist anymore in this age. Decent interface, but here's another thing I bloody hate - it's designed for tablets. Right mouse click do absolutely nothing, but at least you can use the mouse wheel or "I" to bring down the inventory. Oh, and no key rebinding OF COURSE. (screw you) The story is intriguing so far, good setting, and pushes me to progress. So far I'd give it a 8/10, but considering the pixel hunting and the other pet peeves let's skim it down to 6/10. »

The interesting plot and settings bring it all together though. If you enjoyed monkey island and/or leisure larry you will like this one as well. »
