Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance

« I'll even go out on a limb and say that Deadly Alliance is the best 3D fighter to date! [Jan 2003, p.88] »
« This game can definitely hang with the best of them, though, which may come as a big surprise to those who thought that Mortal Kombat was dead. MK:DA has enough for both old MK fans and more "modern" fighting game players to keep most everyone entertained for quite a while. »
« Diehard MK fans will surely love it, and all of my casual gamer friends think it's one of the best fighting games ever made. »
« The fighting is as brutal as ever; perhaps even more so with the power of the PS2 behind it...but the fun is still retained. »
« Gameplay introduces many new elements, and the replay value is almost endless. »
« Smooth, fluid, and full of strategy, this is the best-playing game in the series by far. »
« I highly recommend this game to anyone who has any interest in fighting games, especially those who were disappointed with "Tekken 4" or people who have a craving for the Mortal Kombat series. »
« It's the perfect, brutal antidote to more complicated fighters like Tekken, but it's also complex enough to satisfy those put off by the stupidity of previous games. Bloody great. [Playstation 2 Max] »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« There are marked improvements here from MK4, weapons mean more, there are multiple fighting styles, however the fighting can feel a bit slow and clunky at times, and there being only one fatality per fighter is a little bit of a bummer too. That being said, the addition of Konquest mode & the Krypt, which are MK mainstays these days make their debut here and they are nice additions to the world of MK. Several new characters are introduced here, though only a few are MK mainstays these days. My personal favorites being Moloch & Drahmin. »
« Liu Kang is dead. Deadly Alliance starts with that message and from there it just keep on giving, many characters, great designs, full 360 3D movement, fighting styles which you can freely switch between, great graphics, great stage design, great story, great gameplay and loads of bonus content, what more do you need? A solid entry in the series. »
IA irregular. Animaciones mejorables »
« When you play it with your brother/sister.... thenmortal kombat in real life comes.... »
« This was the first MK fighting game made exclusively for home consoles. It also revived the franchise. With new combat mechanics and the content-filled "Krypt", "Deadly Alliance" proved it could hold up against "Soul Calibur II" and "Tekken 4". The game is still a blast to play, but its sequel "Deception" is even better. Overall, I would rate DA with an 8.1 out of 10. »
« "Deadly Alliance" was the first MK fighting game made exclusively for home consoles. It was also a reboot that revived the series from a very low point. Released 10 years after the original, D.A. revamped the combat mechanics and introduced new fighters. The updated gameplay pulled from the likes of "Soul Calibur" and "Dead or Alive". A notable addition was "The Crypt" which contains tons of unlockable bonus content. Overall, this is a terrific entry that proved MK could still hold up against competitors. I would rate it with an 8.2 out of 10. »
« Best Mortal Kombat game, characters are distinct in terms of design and gameplay with most having stories that branch off in completely different directions, the presentation and music is top notch and consistently great. This game also manages to weave in story with a tutorial for how all characters play amazingly well. »
