« Not a guarantee that it's a game for everyone, but rather a big fat A+ for Alphadream when it comes to Advanced Game Design. This game is the cream of the portable gaming crop, and you'll be really hard-ressed not to be taken in by at least one of it's plentiful charms. »
« Fantastic. With an insane plot, goofy characters and some incredibly well-designed gameplay, this is a game which should be on the must-buy list of any DS owner who does not hate fun. »
« A plot that is both epic and comical, a quirky and addictive battle system, beautiful graphics and music, and retro charm. Along with Meteos, this is a DS must-have. »
« Anyone else with a heartbeat, a DS and forty bucks should pick this game up immediately. »
« Mario is no stranger to RPGs but there are probably no stranger RPGs than this one. Highly recommended. »
« An engaging narrative that actually inspires an urge to read all the text, fun and evolving combat, and a smooth coat of presentational polish make Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time a compelling package. »
« A fun and interesting RPG. The clever combat system works almost perfectly. Too bad the touchscreen is not used. [Mar 2006] »
« A worthy follow-up to "Superstar Saga," and the first great RPG on the DS. [Jan 2006, p.110] »

« Yes i know this game has its flaws but COME ON its so charming and the babys make for such a fun and unique gameplay style especially with bros items though some things are frustrating like the final boss but otherwise i like this one »
« This is a nice game, pretty fun and pretty entertaining, but for a kid, it is a little bit difficult. When I was a kid, I didn't enjoyed as much as now this game because I found it difficult »
« Okay,i have quite a story with this game and have some nostalgia by it,But I'm not going to give it extra points by that.... Now then,What i think about the game? Actually one of the Best Mario Rpg Ever made! The History is Actually kinda creepy,With the Shroobs being my personal Favorite in all the Mario Villains Catalogue,The Gameplay is basically Cleaned Up and Updated SS,Adding the Babies which are Pretty Good Companion and Playable Characters (And not oveshadow the Adult bros) Adding the iconic tandem attacks and of course,The Ost,OH THE OST,Is such a pleasure,Sure it isn't the best or the Most iconic but i Simply Love Yoko's Work here,The only real issues i have with the Game is that It is a bit linear and the concept of Time Traveling isn't explored that much,Kind of missed potential tbh. For Making it short,I Think Mario & Luigi Pit Is a Great Game which Simply show how Creative this Rpg Spinoff Saga Can be,Recomended to any Mario RPGS Fan (Also can believe there's mf with Not like ts Game). »
« Final boss was cool. Music was fun. Story was suprisingly dark. The baby versions were hard to control together, but I feel that was the point. Stuffwell was annoying but everything afterwards was fun. »
« The game holds itself up surprisingly well. The music is great, the battles are fun, the story is great and the slapstick humour of the game remains unbeaten by any other Mario & Luigi game to date. My main points of critique are the lack of minigames (there's one shortly before the boss which is really not very good and should be improved in a potential remake) and that the bosses lack the attack variety they have in later games. Overall a short and sweet Mario & Luigi experience that I highly recommend you play. »
