Mario Kart Wii
Mario Kart Wii

« Mario Kart Wii has more variety, more to do, and ultimately more to keep you coming back than any Mario Kart before it (and as a hardcore advocate of the SNES original, I never thought I would find myself saying that); but more than that, it is a flagship title for the Nintendo Wii. Not only is Mario Kart Wii the most important title that will be released on the format this year, but it will stand the test of time as one of the best games the Wii has to offer. »
« If anyone tells you they don't like the game, then they probably don't like chocolate, the Superbowl or comedies either. There is so much fun packed into the title that all but the most "alternative" of core gamers are bound to love it. »
« The refined gameplay, the super slick presentation and the flexible controls all add up to one of the finest racing experiences ever. »
« A fantastic racer and the best online Nintendo game ever. [Apr 2008, p.58] »
« It's the ultimate Mario Kart package rather than the best, but it's still a lot of fun. [Apr 2008, p.47] »
« Mario Kart Wii is the penultimate multiplayer experience on the Wii, and a must-own title for anyone serious about gaming. »
« It's a fast and fun racing game that is easy enough for beginners to pick up and enjoy while still a challenge for veteran players to master. The addition of online play (other than it's not so friendly friends system) and the introduction of the Wii’s motion technology add even more oil to what is already a pretty slick offering. »
« With more features, modes and multiplayer options than ever before, fans should be revved up to get behind the wheel. [May 2008, p.86] »
Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)
« This game is simply fun and frantic. This makes the multiplayer sublime but the single player make you want to die (at least until you get good). This game feels amazing to play. I played with the wii remote and nunchuk and it felt great and I had no control issues. It's a must have for the system, especially if you have people to play it with. »
« This is the Mario kart that started to ruin it for me. You never feel like your going fast you never have really any ability to power drift and overall it's just not a very fun game just because it's simple driving. And they ruined battle mode the first one to do so which is mostly why I play anyways »
« It might be a broken and rushed and not so polished game but it had a certain charm that me of the past kinda liked, it teached me what time trials were and what the speed running and TAS community were capable of. It's because of how broken the game is that we have the opportunity to witness the miracles of ultrashortcuts. The best part of the game is the community that after almost 20 years is still working on mods or ways to revive online play. »
« A challenging game that doesn't need to be mastered to unravel its very good content. However, the controlers are a bit of a mess and uncomformy »

« Absolutely amazing game, the nitro tracks are top notch in this game , the retro tracks are about 75/25, most are pretty fun, but the other like 25% are not great, the battle mode is not fun because you are stuck in teams but the stages are good at least but at what cost, I know I seem to be negative but I love this game not to mention what the community has done to make this game even better, truly a great game. »
