Lancelot's Hangover : The Quest for the Holy Booze, développé et édité par Jean-Baptiste de Clerfayt, est sorti le 1er octobre 2020 sur PC (Microsoft Windows). Ce jeu d'aventure indépendant de type point-and-click, réalisé avec le moteur AGS, propose une comédie médiévale absurde mêlant les inspirations de Monkey Island et des Monty Python, dans laquelle le joueur incarne Lancelot, le plus séduisant des chevaliers de la Table ronde, chargé par Dieu de retrouver le Saint Graal pour y mettre de l'alcool et organiser la plus grande fête d'Angleterre, le calice étant caché en France. D'une durée de trois à six heures, l'expérience comprend des énigmes d'inventaire typiques du genre, des mini-jeux liés à l'ivresse et un humour très irrévérencieux, l'ensemble de l'art, des animations, du scénario et de la musique ayant été produit par un seul créateur. Commercialisé au prix de 11,99 euros, le titre a été salué par la presse comme un jeu charmant et amusant dans l'esprit de Monty Python selon Adventure Gamers, tandis que Screen Rant a noté qu'il intégrait bien le genre sans être révolutionnaire, et certains joueurs sur Steam, tout en recommandant le titre aux amateurs de point-and-click et des Monty Python, ont apprécié son humour et sa direction artistique mais ont regretté ses défauts techniques.

It's a short trip (read: acid trip) down into wonderland, where nothing is taken too seriously, though some of the humour provides commentary on some issues in the real world. If experiencing a Monty Python classic sounds like a fun time, then Lancelot's Hangover may be worth jumping into. Of course, it's best to go in by leaving any offense at the door, and go with the flow of what this has to offer. »
