« Kirby: Star Allies is an all-together pleasant game. Which is especially needed, both in the Nintendo Switch library and in the current climate of 2018. We need something simple and enjoyable that brings a smile to our faces. We need a game we can play with anyone we know, without worrying about possible barriers. It is a delight, and Switch owners will definitely appreciate adventuring with their buddy again. »

« Multiplayer is pretty fun. The characters and their various attacks are fun to use. There could have been more to the game to give it a bit more depth. There aren't too many levels and the game loses its thrill after a while. If you're looking for a single player experience, you can probably do better elsewhere. But for local multiplayer, it could make for a fun time. »

« This is the worst less engaging Kirby game I've EVER played. I unironically had more fun with the best Kirby's adventure than with this game. It is such a snoozefest I couldn't bother completing over 2% of the game. As a Kirby fan, don't play this, it'll waste your time. It has plain level design, it's way too easy, and it's just boring. »

« I had the best expectantions possible, but they were all disappointed: the game is easy, very short and i find the new mechanic boring, as it even makes the game easier than it already is. It's still a kirby game, so pleasant in the end, but it completely misses the spark of the previous games. Disappointing. »
