« Just Dance 2018 is a groovy addition to any party. A fun time to be had by all, the addition of Just Dance Unlimited and the ability to use two Joy-Con controllers for a few songs is a welcome treat for Switch owners. »

Cubed3 80/100

« Just Dance 2018 does not offer much new, but it truly does not have to at this point. The things it does offer adds to the already great experience in unexpected ways. The mojo gashapon adds yet another addictive component to the mixture of feel-good-hormones the game has offered for ages in a way that is obviously clever once explained. What players are here for, though, is the fun and addictive dance gameplay, which is as strong as ever with the ever growing Unlimited library. This makes Just Dance 2018 well worth a go for fans and newcomers alike. »

Atomix 80/100

« Besides the lack of some other great hits besides "Despacito", Just Dance 2018 makes another nice game, specially for the kinds at home and all of the people that might get it for the Nintendo Switch. Playing it on a Nintendo Switch with HD Rumble technology and both Joy-Cons just feels like the way it was meant to be. »

NintendoWorldReport 80/100

« Just Dance 2018 continues to provide the great content that has made the franchise so successful. Most of the tracks included are from the past two years so if you’ve been a fan of music lately, then it’s worth the purchase. Personally I preferred what was offered on Just Dance Unlimited as it included lots of old favorites and a wonderful collection of Halloween-themed songs that my kids thoroughly enjoyed. No matter the reason you enjoy Just Dance, whether it’s on the on go or in the privacy of your own home, you’re likely to enjoy the 2018 version in any environment. »

Stevivor 75/100

« While I called Just Dance 2017 a step in the right direction, Just Dance 2018 feels like a side step. There’s a decent selection of 40 modern, contemporary and even K-Pop songs to jive to, but a major portion of your library will disappear after three months (unless you want to pay to keep it all going). New modes are decent but come the cost of the removal of others. That all said, Just Dance 2018 is relatively inoffensive; it’s a great purchase for those who didn’t grab last year’s iteration. »

Multiplayer.it 75/100

« There's actually nothing new in Just Dance 2018, but a more of the same is just what we have come to expect for this new iteration of a formula that continues to satisfy the urge of dance. »

God is a Geek 75/100

« Just Dance 2018 is just as good as it’s always been, but it’s beginning to become hard to justify shelling out just for a smattering of new songs with each iteration. »

LevelUp 70/100

« Just Dance 2018 is an update to the popular Ubisoft franchise with more songs as its main attraction. The gameplay has not changed much and although we appreciate add-ons such as Kid and Double Rumble modes, you will not find new mechanics that transform the gameplay we all know. »

« This game is a dancing game do I need to say more? yes of course. Just Dance is probably the best dancing game series in the world however if you are looking to buy a Just Dance game I do recommend getting one of the newer entries like Just Dance 2021. »

« welcome to something about just dance getting worse, i never wanted to buy any other just dance, except for one, just dance 2015. i can't believe ubisoft decides to add a subscription to be able to let you play other games, it's so stupid and even though i got a used version of this, after the subscription ended.. i immediately stopped playing this horrible game, the song choice was alright for the game, but man the subscription thing should be out of here. »

« Suddenly, during the quarantine this game that I bought 3 years ago became my #1 played game of the month :) The content - 8/10: * The song selection is great (they have Jamiroquai!). Thought the choreography itself varies from meh to just good. For comparison, Just Dance 2020 have much funnier & enjoyable moves and combos (though less catchy songs). * I did actually enjoy Dance Lab. It's underdeveloped. But still a great gym. * The collectables are meh (repetitive avatars and stickers I didn't ask for). The interface - 6/10: * Main problem of the game. It's not user-friendly whatsoever: gift machine is slow af, no video previews for songs, browsing library is painful, connection to Just Dance unlimited fails after Switch goes to sleep mode). This is especially frustrating compared to JD2020 where they fixed almost all of this. * Joy-Con movement tracking accuracy is mostly ok. Not great, though. Just Dance Unlimited - 8/10: * In a sense, that's main value-prop of the game. And it's great. Many-many-many great songs. There are problems, though. * Again, it gets disconnected for no reason after Switch wakes up. * The movement tracking accuracy **** for older songs (for JD games with numbers in the title and not years) * W/o pre-defined playlists the search is a pain. »

« Releasing this boring and repetitive game on the Switch doesn't change anything. »

« DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! Ubisoft is scamming gamers who pay for the subscription in this game. It has been two weeks and the subscription I paid for still hasn't activated. Ubisoft is ignoring all tickets, emails, and phone calls! »

« I paid for an Unlimited subscription. I didn't get it. Ubisoft is not responding. »
