Description (IGDB)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth installment of the popular Harry Potter series. Players take control of Harry Potter in this 3D adventure as he faces the dangers of his fifth year of Hogwarts, avoiding the malicious Professor Dolores Umbridge, builds Dumbledore's Army, and faces off with Voldemort himself as the prophecy continues to unfold. Players will navigate through the castle of Hogwarts and beyond, learning fifth year spells, solving multiple puzzles, avoiding traps, and even get a chance to play as the Weasley brothers, Sirius Black and Dumbledore himself. All versions are the same with the exception of the Wii. Players can use the Wiimote as Harry's wand to cast spells, allowing a new level of control never before possible in a Harry Potter game.

Histoire (IGDB)

Harry Potter returns to Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizard community is in denial about his encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. Dolores Umbridge, an official from the Ministry of Magic, teaches courses in defensive magic, but this leaves the young wizards unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces that threaten them. Harry teaches other students, in secret, how to defend themselves.

PGNx Media 85/100

« Thanks to the top-notch production values, this is an easy recommendation for fans of the books or movies. »

XboxAddict 84/100

« It was easy to learn, easy to understand, and it did a fantastic job of brining the Harry Potter saga to life. It’s without a doubt one of the better movies adaptations to hit a video game, and it’s a great title for younger gamers that are usually relegated to chasing and dodging in a linear fashion. »

Gamers' Temple 81/100

« The Order of the Phoenix is the best Harry Potter game to date and the first one that’s a real treat for fans of the books and movies. »

1UP 80/100

« The experiment is a success and testament to the fact that EA really has been spending more time crafting these games as the movies and books become more ambitious. If "Half-Blood Prince" produces the same leap in concept as we've seen here, Potter fans will really be in for something. »

GameTrailers 80/100

« The mission objectives are mundane, but all the little secrets littered throughout give it a sense of discover that Harry Potter games have failed to deliver in the past. If you’re a diehard Potter fan then don’t think twice about picking it up, and action gamers will find a lot to like as well. »

Gamer 2.0 80/100

« Order of the Phoenix is without a doubt the best entry in the Harry Potter game series to date. »

GameSpy 80/100

« Sure, Order of the Phoenix is a little rough around the edges, but it's still the best Harry Potter game yet. Fans will get a huge kick over how well it recreates Harry's world. »

AceGamez 80/100

« They have delivered what is most definitely a game for the fans, and that can't really be stressed enough. »

« Not a vey good game to have. It involves walking repeatedly around Hogwarts. The size of Hogwarts and places to discover are amazing thought. Anyone who gives it above 5 has no sense »

« When the game launched I would have given it a higher rating. Years later I have replayed through it on a new Gamertag and I still really enjoy it. It is a refreshing twist and reminded me of Bully. Not exactly and open world adventure game but an Open Hogwarts Adventure game. Lot of collectibles and side quests with some that are fun and other that are annoying. Sill a very fun game with a lot of unique game mechanics. My favorite Harry Potter Game that does not have Lego in the Title. »
