« This game is essentially a gaccha game where all the units are anime girl representations of various rifles, hand guns, sub machine guns, machine guns, and assault rifles. The game attempts to have a serious story but this is one of those stories that go nowhere. There's a lot of good and interesting story points but unfortunately, all chapters end with "your princess is in another castle" so you can finish up to 10 chapters and still be strung along while the game sets up this whole buildup of M4A1 (who is the main character) only with no reasonable payoff. All the villains pretty much have the same personality as they all mainly care about "entertainment" which is pretty weak plot point for a series that is trying to be serious. In essence, this gaccha game is relatively friendly to newcomers but does a horrible job of explaining the game and its mechanics to you. Experimentation is fine but needlessly wasting resources in the beginning will have huge downsides in the long run making it a necessity to look up guides. Overall, there are better stories out there that deal with androids and the concept of free will and emotions. Only play this game if you're into waifu collecting. »

« First off, it's a gacha game, but the ones that takes resources to build your characters instead of using a rare currency, which is very refreshing to see. Second, cosmetics and costumes are a cruel system but feel worth it when you attain tokens to unlock them. Girls Frontline is a mobile game I genuinely love. If you like guns, anime girls, and a plot that rivals basic sci-fi games, you'll love this game. This game will most likely have your favorite gun and even more obscure or less known ones you may feel attached to. The turn based combat may feel out of place or even boring to start, but I grew into the combat system, especially when bringing my favorite guns. Many of the guns are designed by different artists, which reflects the holder's personality, and provides a template to grow used to. Meta wise, power creep occasionally happens through new features, and the best dolls (guns) are the plot related ones, stick with them. Still, a lot of dolls will get buffed later on by updates and even 2/3 stars are even viable based on team setups. Overall, this game will get you addicted. Immerse yourself with the dolls and find the ones you'll love, and you'll have a great experience for a mobile game. »

« I think this story and the chars are so god damn interesting it deserves a Anime or console game. It is a gem of his kind. But what maybe the normal people not appeal's is the amount of time to come to the end of the story. »
