Le titre propose un programme d'entraînement physique incluant un plan nutritionnel adapté, et guide le joueur à travers plusieurs modes tels que le dance fit, le cardio, le step, le pump and tone et le kickboxing, avec la possibilité d'utiliser divers accessoires de fitness. La presse a salué ses qualités, MS Xbox World jugeant que parmi les jeux de fitness pour Kinect sur Xbox 360, il figure parmi les meilleurs, tandis que SpazioGames note qu'il est plutôt agréable avec Kinect mais manque d'exercices originaux et d'options en ligne. While the trainer of choice may not be to everyone's liking, the game itself can certainly prove to be addictive, and given the commitment, you're certain to achieve your selected goals - just be sure to do as Mel B tells you, after all, she's known as Scary Spice for good reason. »
