NBA 2K19 fans are unhappy at an increase in the number of in-game unskippable ads

Unhappy NBA 2K19 players are complaining that unskippable ads have popped up via loading screens on the basketball sim across most platforms.Whilst loading advertisments in the NBA 2K franchise aren't new, the sudden flood of irate messages across Reddit and social media (thanks, Nintendo Life) concerning 2K19 intimates either a bug or an upswing in the number of advertisements playing. "Yeah, my game got to 100% and instead of letting me edit match ups (which you can normally do while the game loads) or letting me go straight to the game, I had to sit there and finish the ad," said one commenter. "Absolutely pathetic from 2k again."Read more

Critiques de la Presse (Metacritic)

Game Over Online 94/100

« Overall, WWE 2K19 is an evolutionary step forward for the series – but a big one. The return of the showcase mode offers up a lot to enjoy for fans of Daniel Bryan while the MyCareer mode brings things back that worked before – but tells a far better narrative than most. The debuting 2K Towers offer an ever-present challenge and are sure to make even seasoned players wince a time or two, and the revamped gameplay for things like striking and cage-related modes allows for more realistic matches than prior entries across the board. »

Hobby Consolas 88/100

« WWE 2K19 is the best wrestling game in the series since it came to 2K Games. It's new story mode is very fun and 2K Showcase is back. At last, WWE 2K19 is the game that wrestling fans deserve. »

LaPS4 88/100

« WWE 2K19 proclaims itself as the best wrestling game until this day. My Career, Towers and the great return of Showcase are enough to keep any fan of the WWE fighting for hours. The dynamic and challenging combats will hook veteran and amateurs fighters alike. There is no doubt at all that 2K has given depth to his wrestling simulator and open a new and exciting path for the franchise. »

IGN Spain 86/100

« Taking advantage of the great leap in quality with 2K18, WWE 2K19 presents the largest offering of game modes to have us stuck to the virtual ring another year. »

3DJuegos 85/100

« WWE 2K19 it’s the best WWE game since 2K takes the franchise in 2013. Although need changes in the playability side, but it has a lots of content, game modes and the biggest constellation of WWE Superstars ever. »

God is a Geek 85/100

« It is a massive improvement for the series, with plenty of great modes to choose from, along with so many great wrestlers past and present to wrestle with. It finally feels like things are looking up for WWE 2K. »

Gaming Nexus 85/100

« WWE 2K19 is still rough around the edges and some game modes are still in desperate need of an update, but it's the best game from 2K yet and features a lot of upgrades and fun game modes to keep you playing all the way through until WWE 2K20. »

Vandal 84/100

« WWE fans will find here the best wrestling game 2K has ever published, with a more polished gameplay and nice additions like the Showcase mode. However, it doesn’t seem to try and fix some of the series long-running issues that fans have been complaining about. »

Ryuride1234 9/10

« It’s great gameplay made me feel like this is a complete version of 17 and 18 and it’s career mode is finally entertaining compared to before it and-commentators finally for the most part understand what they are saying in matches. »

PorchBandit 8/10

« If 2K23 is an 82, then 19 deserves a rescoring. It's by no means groundbreaking and the lack of additions of things that were lost in these games years and years ago when the development changed hands is certainly a pitfall. Universe was good in concept but needed tweaking, variety and customization that 19 just doesn't provide. It lacks a few significant features compared to the aforementioned more modern and at this time current WWE game such as GM mode. But maintains a semi-familiar control scheme and gameplay style that kept it true to the series as well as keeping to WWE's (more specifically their games franchise) title as leader in a niche market. I mention controls and gameplay because it's the very core of what is wrong with 23. Though on base settings the counters can be horribly difficult at times it also has no shortage of sliders to fine tune the experience so you don't feel the obvious trend chase to turn 2k19 into Dark Souls. The counters really seemed imprecise, clumsy, sometimes never showing prompt, Timing was very difficult to attune oneself to with the sheer amount of different moves and each one having the counter at different times during the animation. In at least one case, I had a wrestler with a lower overall rating counter special and finisher at least 3 times each in a single match with barely any stamina or "HP" left. Though in real life it would have made a great spectacle of a match to watch Not Ideal, especially for a game where I wanted to Vince McMahon my entire Universe and control every aspect, and Easy difficulty is still ridiculously unforgiving. (yes I know I don't play on high difficulty especially in wrestling games, but ones ability to play a difficult game shouldn't alienate them from a product they've already purchased, and why I stand by my opinions that Dark Souls is horribly overrated purely because people think hard = good, which is only ever true when two consenting adults are naked together, I further assert that that opinion is entirely objective) Luckily 2K at least had the foresight to offer players an INSANE amount of difficulty and match setting sliders from momentum rate (the resource used for finishers etc.), though this may feel a bit lazy, adding balance sliders rather than balancing the game, it's nice to be able to use them. As far as I remember you could get very granular adjusting how often the AI will counter strikes, diving moves, grapples and even specials/finishers. »

mrpetition 8/10

« The best 2k game in my opinion. It got the best roster, gameplay is pretty good except some gameplay limitations that kinda ****. My career is alright ig nothing that good really. Showcase was pretty good and just the overall gameplay and simulation is still fun to play to this day »

hector_bcn98 8/10

TenAdrian 7/10

« Game play is pretty good. Universe mode ****. My carrer is good. Showcase is alright. AND.... That's about it. Tbh pretty good. Not close to the older WWE games. But still not bad »

SquATime 5/10

« Scénario mise en scène : 3/10 Gameplay : 6/10 Univers : 9/10 Réalisation technique : 4/10 Réalisation graphique : 2/10 »

Dachell 8/10

« A pesar de que el wwe2k22 luce bastante atractivo creo que es más por lo diferente que es, lo nuevo siempre resultará atractivo. Para mi el juego definitivo de wwe2k es el wwe2k19. En general en el top 3 de juegos de wwe sólo detrás de 1- No mercy (64 nintendo) 2- Here come the pain 3- wwe 2k19. »
