Cricket 19
Cricket 19

« Despite some rough edges, Cricket 19 is the closest to the real thing that a cricket game has ever been. »
« Like Ashes Cricket before it, Cricket 19 takes a good thing and touches it up. Its strength is definitely when bat meets ball, which is largely the same as Ashes Cricket, but its focus has been on enhancing everything around that. While there’s still room for improvement, once again it has topped itself to become the best cricket game on the market. The fully licensed Ashes mode is fantastic, the quasi World Cup delivers a faithful alternative to the real deal, and the Career mode will keep you invested long term. »
« Cricket 19 delivers us another solid improvement in the world of cricket games, and while it still doesn’t quite match up to the big budget sports games, it certainly gives the genre a good run for its money. »
« If you['re] bored by cricket you’ll likely be bored with this game too. However for the fans, there is now a really good cricket game to enjoy, one that’s packed with gameplay, customisation, and a real love for the real game. »
« Cricket 19 is by far the best cricket game available right now. There’s enough about it to keep cricket newbies entertained while its high level of authenticity will no doubt delight die-hard cricket fans. Even England’s Barmy Army, however, would get quickly tired of the loading times, and may notice the small imperfections to the matchday experiences. Despite this, Cricket 19 is a solid boundary, with the career mode hitting nothing but sixes. »
« Cricket 19 has enhanced beyond Ashes Cricket, Big Ant Studios previous outing and then the best cricket video game around. Enhancements to AI have further improved this, though doesn't completely perfect the game with a few issues here and there. Altogether though, this is still a very strong and polished game and one that any fan of cricket should be interested in. »
« Not the big jump in quality we saw from the last Don Bradman’s to Ashes Cricket, Cricket 19 is at least a small improvement on its predecessor, strengthening its modular gameplay options and packing in a bit more detail to the engrossing career and Ashes modes. It’s fair to say more was expected of this latest willow-whacker, but it does manage to keep the series on the path to greater things. »
« Big Ant Studios have continued to make a comprehensive cricket sim without especially making great strides over previous efforts. The customisation is extensive and the content on offer covers almost everywhere in the cricketing universe. The sport itself plays well but the presentation lacks a little, especially when it comes to atmosphere. Load times seem to suffer but, for fans, Cricket 19 offers more than enough to keep them happy for a while. »

« This game is an improvement from the Don Bradman series. I love the direction that Big Ant is taking this game. Batting and Bowling are fun. Some improvements in fielding needed like dives. The career mode is far better than the career mode from Don Bradman 17. The custom creations are a treat. You could spend a good chunk of time just creating players, teams, stadiums, bats. The community behind this game is also fantastic. »
« This is s great step forward for this series. Huge fan of the customisation, particularly on gameplay/difficulty sliders. A couple more tweaks and this game could be a 10: -more licences for players and teams - more realistic fielding and batting animations (sometimes players slide across the ground instead of moving their feet) -more accurate player models Everything else in this game is great! »
« Someone wanted to make cricket fans dream come true and bigant created this one. Any cricket fan, this is best cricket game available right now. »
« I find this game very good, less glitches, I find the little detail they do makes even better. I still find that they need to reliance the teams because you always have to download it from the community creation. It’s a must have for cricket fans and this game won’t let you down. »
« Alright the game play is great it just feels better when playing the game. But it still needs lots of polish the frame rate dips when batting at night on a PS 4 not pro. Sometimes the game simulates when u are batting very rarely but it does happen enough to notice. Every pitch uptill now in my career has only one type of setting that is soft and overcast, we have to change every time before we start the matches not to feel repetitive. Can't say this is a bug or not but have played season 1 with batting avg of 100 still in selection screen it says no chance will play a bit more n comment. May be after few patches will give it 7 but for now it is a low 5 »
« So this is a review in progress. Firstly, what the chuff 65 seconds loading time to play a game of cricket. I counted it and I’m sorry that’s not good enough playing on these consoles today. Best sort that out Big Ant Studios. Other than, I’ve only batted for a few balls, can’t say much more but it has promise. Oh and the frame rate is a real dog. »
