Full Throttle
Full Throttle

« FT is also a perfect example of how music can make half the experience. The Gone Jackals, a biker band, provided much of the music and it’s situated so perfectly that it’s almost as if it was written especially for FT. Add to that a very good cast of voice actors, some very funny lines, and you’ve got a nearly flawless game. »
« The game has great atmosphere and style. Ben is a likable fellow and makes a good - if slightly atypical - adventure hero. »
« It may be a little short, but it's one wild ride while it lasts. [Aug 1995, p.80] »
« For someone who isn't an adventure gamer, this game was absolutely pleasing. I found it thoroughly enjoyable albeit a little quick to end... but on the whole, this game is good. »
« Although many gamers have criticized this title as being too short, Full Throttle's amusing story and well-developed characters make this shortcoming easy to overlook. »
« An excellent game, full of plot twists and unusual situations that will keep the player engrossed for hours. The gameplay is excellent. »
« Although the quality of immersion is excellent, it is somewhat transient, no doubt leaving many feeling short-changed. In the end, though, the intrigue and originality of the story make it a very important adventure game for all fans of the genre. »
« The graphics, particularly in the cut-scenes, have the unmistakable LucasArts quality that we have come to expect but, unfortunately, the game is let down by the limited amount of interaction and problem solving involved. »

« Although Lucas Arts adventures are not my favorites due to some illogical puzzles in every game, I admit Full Throttle is one of the best by the studio. You are the leader of a biker gang, the Polecats. The game features motorcycle riding, combat (similar to Road Rash) and demolition derby, which provide a welcome change in addition to point & click mechanics. I loved the voice acting, as well as the heavy metal soundtrack. Back in the day, the game was criticized to be too short. But I feel 4 hours length for Full Throttle felt just right. 8.5/10 »
« A fantastic adventure game marred only by a disappointingly short length and some annoying combat sequences (was there EVER a LucasArts adventure game with GOOD combat sequences?). Still the animation is great, the story is intriguing and the voice acting is top-notch, including the »
« In comparison to the other classic Adventures I dont think Full Throttle has the same level. The graphics is very good, but the dialogs are boring: Not much humor, and they are simple. The riddles were easy and the story, just good. I prefer Zak McCracken, Maniac Mansion or Monkey Island. On the other side, you need to invest only few hours to know this game, so why not? »
« I've completed this game long time ago but memories still filling me up with joy and a hint of brutal and metal light-headiness. Some moments are quite forgetful though. Good stuff »
« My first legally purchased game... a masterpiece is defined by its capacity to endure the passing of the years, and this game certainly did. "No. No mementos." »
