Forza Motorsport 7, développé par Turn 10 Studios et édité par Microsoft Studios, est sorti le 3 octobre 2017 sur PC (Microsoft Windows) et Xbox One. Ce jeu de course et de simulation, propulsé par le moteur ForzaTech et protégé par la solution DRM Arxan, plonge les joueurs dans l'effervescence de la compétition automobile à travers une campagne inspirée du sport automobile, la collection d'une large variété de véhicules et la conduite à la limite. Une partie principale demande environ vingt-neuf heures et demie pour être bouclée, tandis qu'un parcours completiste s'étend à près de cent cinquante-neuf heures. Le titre a reçu un accueil critique favorable, avec un score Metacritic de 82, un score OpenCritic de 85 et une note agrégée de 82,67. La presse a salué l'expérience proposée, Windows Central y voyant le jeu de course le plus complet sur Xbox et GamesRadar+ estimant qu'il corrige les défauts du précédent opus avec une direction artistique poussée et une prise en main excellente, tandis que certains joueurs sur Metacritic ont apprécié l'amélioration graphique et l'ajout de nouveaux modes de jeu.

« This review is about 2 years late, considering you cant even buy the game anymore. Anyways, logged A LOT of hours into this, always had a blast. This is not a sim racer, it has to be said, although don't confuse it with games like need for speed etc. I would call it a middle ground between sim racing and arcade. Overall the game had a really polished feel for me. The graphics on xbox one were great, the cars and tracks looked as good as can be expected for a last gen console. Although subjective, the rock based music in the menu's fit perfectly for me. The car roster was also pretty awesome, cant really ask for more. »
« This game so far is amazing. So their is a learning curve for me. I can't drive it like any other racing game. From holding down the racing trigger all the way down to accelerate to breaking on turns. It is a challenge but that's what makes games fun for me a "challenge." »
