« Fashion Dreamer is everything I've ever wanted in a fashion dress up game, with varied activities and well implemented online functionality. »
« For all but the most die-hard of fans, Fashion Dreamer is very much a 'play a bit regularly' experience rather than binge-play-for-hours-at-a-time type of game. Aside from some seemingly odd filter menu choice omissions and other minor issues, the promise of regular updates means it's a title worth having on Nintendo Switch, and is certainly going to fulfil a fashion lover's dream, with everyone being able to live their best model life in the easy to play environment. »
« Fashion Dreamer is not necessarily a title that someone is going to sit down and play for hours on end, but it’s impressive how addictive the simple gameplay loop quickly becomes. The excitement of getting new clothes, creating new styles, trying on outfits others are wearing and so many other little things is fantastic. Even for someone who only has a mild, passing interest in fashion, there’s fun to be had here. The ability to simply have fun in a digital world where it doesn’t cost real money to buy and wear fantastic outfits is well worth picking up this title in and of itself, and it’s simply a wonderfully-welcoming title for anyone who loves the creative side of clothing. Fashion Dreamer is a fantastically-designed title that’s perfect for those who are fashion-forward or anyone who even remotely is interested in the idea of playing in the creative digital dress-up world of Eve. »
« Fashion Dreamer is the next evolution of Nintendo dress-up games, boasting creative and robust online features, adorable character design, and near-endless customization options for the style-conscious gamer. »
« While Fashion Dreamer may not be a game for everyone, it is exactly what it promises to be: a game where fashion fans can spend dozens of hours trying to find the perfect look. »
« Fashion Dreamer is a game I’ll be picking up here and there for a quick look. While its features are fun, the novelty will wear off after a while. It’s not more than a dress up game and will not be for everyone. If you’re looking for a more in depth game, you might have to look elsewhere. »
« Fashion Dreamer dives into the deep end of sandbox gameplay and loses a lot of charm in the process. Having everything available from the get go is nice, but it lacks any motivation to keep playing after the first few hours. Making outfits is a ton of fun, there’s just not much to do or see outside of that. »
« Syn Sophia finally brings the world of fashion to Nintendo Switch. Fashion Dreamer is a game full of possibilities, clothes and patterns where Likes have devoured every possible story. A beautiful and stylish title whose biggest enemy is its gameplay loop and progression. »

« Look, we all know there's no story in this game and hardly any objectives to keep playing. BUT I made my own fun, deciding every week I would choose a new theme and dress everyone accordingly eg fairies, goth, rainbow etc. I ended up spending 70 hours on it, so I have to review it pretty positively, but I do think it needed more things to do. »
« Fashion just doesnt get better on the Switch. With a very addictive gameplay loop and a relaxing time spent, the simplicity is just to die for. And no annoying story is a plus. This a game, not a book, how dare thee try to bore thee. »
« My positives -I like dressing avatars (both NPC and player) -I like making clothing -It's a really chill, relaxed game -Character creation options are open to both genders (called body types in game) Negatives -There really isn't a lot to do. You make outfits, make clothing items, decorate your showroom, and take pictures. -There is little-to-no plot or story. You are an influencer on an avatar-based fashion game(?) called Eve. You're main goal is to raise your influencer rank by gaining followers (which is more like experience points). -NPCs are extremely flat in terms of character. Each NPC has a gimmick (likes summer, is a big sister, lies, etc.). They repeat the same dialog over and over again. You also have no real control as to who shows up in the map (called a Cocoon). This **** because you unlock more character customization options via talking and making outfits for the NPCs. -Male/Type B characters are in a weird limbo: the clothes are gendered and Female/Type A characters have way more options in terms of clothing, both in terms of types of items and items in general. Accessories (Hats, Glasses, and Earrings) can be worn by both genders. Both genders/body types have items that could work on the other gender just fine. -You can't change the colors of your make up. The make ups are pre-set and that's it. -Filtering your items while making an outfit is extremely limited: i.e. it only filters by general type of item (tops, bottoms, one pieces, etc.). You can't filter between colors, patterns, materials, smaller item types, styles, etc. You can make favorites lists where you save items in lists, which some have tried to use to make categories. »
« I just love how relaxing it is. It feels kinda empty yet (november 2023 now) but the monthly updates will add a lot :) »
« +Can relieve stress + Nice relaxing soundtrack -Online mode is the only real way to play -Limited clothing options -Boring gameplay loop -Gatcha odds for rare clothing is too low -Needs more filters for clothing -Highly limited customization Fashion Dreamer is an absolutely missed opportunity, the game is very limited with the obviously the main focus being built around playing dress up, you get to style clothing for everyone and keep unlocking clothing whilst earning style points to unlock more clothing. Fashion Dreamer is basically the switch version of Style Savvy except its a downgrade with less clothing options. The issues is that, it is very light on content - there are two mini-games which is Bingo and a gatcha game, Bingo is honestly boring with limited payouts almost always giving the lowest amounts and the gatcha hardly ever gives any "rare" clothing pulls, in fact after hundreds and hundreds of pulls, I only ever pulled one marginally rare item. Single player offline is a joke, it is basically impossible to level up your brand and is entirely reliant on playing online for other players to "like" your style basically giving you big style point boosts, online is really just a spreadsheet, no actual online encounters take place, you just see static avatars of players which you can like and copy their clothing to add to your catalog....which after playing for a while starts to get so bloated it becomes a chore to navigate. »
« Despite the somewhat negative reviews, Fashion Dreamer is an excellent fashion game, and easily one of the better ones released in english in recent years. And on switch there's not much else out there. It's an enjoyable and cute game, and if what you want is fashion/dress up, it's great. However, there's definitely a lack of content and feels rushed. And I have to dock points for the transphobic and sexist "body type" language used in character creation and item categorization. It should've just used Male/Female, especially as the clothes are gender-locked anyway. That said, the clothes items are super cute, the worlds (cocoons) are interesting, and the game features the same outfit-making gameplay that I enjoy from other fashion games. It's more of an online experience, so if you play offline the game may be sub-par. Definitely a must-buy if you enjoy fashion games. But if you can speak Japanese, it may be worth considering checking out the model debut nicola games instead. I sincerely hope that fashion dreamer is the first step to an independent Syn Sophia fashion game, with many improvements on the horizon. It definitely feels like a step back from the old style savvy series, but beggars can't be choosers here. »
« In this game, female/male characters are called type A, type B. I can't understand why do that. What's the matter about saying (Fe)male? The thing is that some muse(npc)'s pose are also divided type A, B. Women only can women's(type A) poses, and men also. Another problem is the angle of camera in photoegg. Honestly, drone camera's angle is also not perfect. But photoegg's is so serious. Because that only can move camera front/behind, can't use right stick. In drone camera, we can change sight using right stick so take a photo more conveniently. And men clothes' number is too few. In contrast, women have so many clothes. I also love women characters but think so. And who loves men will think more severely. I said the short things of this game, but there are many nice points. First, the characters are very pretty(especially women). Second, the clothes and poses are also cute, wonderful. Third, the customizing is so detail. I recommend it if you like design characters' clothes. »
« The game "Fashion Dreamer" is not suitable for every player. You can't expect a pretty and good title for the Switch. But if you like fashion and like to immortalize yourself and have ideas in this genre, you can have a lot of fun in this life simulation. This makes the title really worth playing again and can keep you busy for several hours. If you like games like this, you can't go far wrong with "Fashion Dreamer". »
