GameShark 100/100

« Rather than aping what's popular, it focuses on good gunplay and unique ways to make it interesting: the slow motion, the co-op, the scoring system, two distinct characters to emphasize replayability, and a story that knows its place and its limitations. »

Machinima 85/100

« And while the additions of features like campaign co-op and survival-based multiplayer are not unwelcome, it's the core aspects of FEAR 3 that should be the reason you play this game. »

ZTGD 85/100

« The difficulty and length of the single player campaign and the lack of "true" competitive multiplayer (read: deathmatch) makes this game a little disappointing. But, truthfully, I can forgive that as the game has great replayability and an awesome game mode in F*cking Run. »

Game Over Online 85/100

« In the end, F.E.A.R. 3 is a great game. »

Game Chronicles 85/100

« Scary or not, F.E.A.R. 3 is an excellent FPS that delivers on all fronts – an excellent single player experience, drop-in campaign-based co-op, multiplayer player vs. bot co-op, and even player vs. player competitive fun – and it does it all in a unique and refreshing manner. »

MondoXbox 85/100

« A very solid and good game, with a varied and satisfying gameplay and very original multiplayer options. It doesn't scare ad we would have liked, but it's a recommended buy for every fan of the series and FPS lovers in general. »

ActionTrip 84/100

« FEAR 3 has a tendency to become rather enjoyable with its tough enemies, well-thought-out levels and a gripping horror style atmosphere. The developers also used an all-too familiar Alma-flavored pattern to weave together a proper storyline. »

Extreme Gamer 84/100

« F.E.A.R. 3 lives up to, if not trumps, the prior experiences in the F.E.A.R. universe. »

« What can I say about this Abomination ****. Its not scary, The story is as interesting as a plastic bag flying In the wind. But there is 2 things that is good in this game. 1: Gameplay. While not fear 1 level it's still passable. 2: Co-op. This isnt a fear game this is a co-op fps. Its pretty fun co-op but it's just bit fear. Honestly I was extremely disappointed with this disaster ****. Even the development was bad. When vivendi was making a fear 2 but wb made them form it into f3ar. One of the worst horror fps games of all time »

Brenhonian 8/10

« Had a pretty good time with the game. Not as good as the first two games in the series, but absolutely does not deserve a lot of hate that it gets from people. »

ANTtheKNEEEE 7/10

« It's a bad game that's made fun when played co op. Lot of laughs really, and yeah there were some creepy stuff too. »

Steyraus 10/10

« Awsome game ,a good finale to one of the best FPS series ever...F3 takes a few mechanics from more milart shooters, but is still full on horror and keeps the sick AF SLOMO bullet time mayhem.. »

GamingGuy 10/10

« Unfortunately, I'm a bit late with this review but I decided to write one because this game specifically deserves a good review. Once again, Warner Bros and Day 1 Studios have yet impressed me with this game. I just love the fear games. Fear 3 has such a unique way of gameplay and the graphics have definitely improved since 2006 from the original fear. And the co-op is just so much fun. It has been said before that this isn't your normal online gameplay. Which makes the game more unique in particular. The multiplayer is all co-op. It will have you laughing all the time. When I get a first person shooter, I look into the graphics more than ever. The graphics are amazing!! The acting is done perfectly. Shooting arms, legs, heads, and the best part the whole entire person since the original fear will explode from a single shotgun blast. If your a blood fest type of person then this game is a must!! »

« This game is severely flawed but once you get used to the cheesy aspects, it starts to get a little fun. It's not really fun or really boring. It's something you'd put on when you've finished all your good games and you're out of gas. Forgettable »

« I loved the first two games in the F.E.A.R. franchise. I loved the insane action, slow-motion roundhouse kicks and bodies exploding into Jell-O(tm) when you pumped a shell into them. I loved the freaky-deaky story, the mysterious protagonist(s) and the occasional flirt with enigmatic storytelling, the screeching, violin-falling-down-the-stairs soundtrack that worked in all its beautiful discordance and hair-raising abruptness. The scripted scares wove ladders, hallways, doors and windows into shockingly intricate little spookouts that contrasted with the bombastic shootouts that framed them, and it all just worked out so WELL. Hell, even the ending of the second game was pretty good in my eyes. And then this thing came out. I hardly know what to say about it, and I hardly have the energy- even now- to summon a full-blown rant on this marvelous marvelous deconstruction of a once-great shooter franchise. The scares? Gone. The lonesome eeriness? Gone. Hope you like playing co-operatively with your psychic **** brother who has lost all of his charm now that you can see how he works and he's always trotting along beside you like a goddamn doberman. The Half-Life-esque presentation that kept you in the protagonist's perspective constantly and almost never thrust you into immersion-punching cutscenes? Hope you didn't like them, because apparently neither did WB. Did I mention that this game isn't scary? It gets most of the action from previous titles right, but it's more than lacking in the horror department. You know. The game called... CALLED... 'Fear'? It doesn't even try to be scary. At all. The game should be called A.P.A.T.H.Y. »
