« This 'LittleBigLego' turned out to be one of the best Christmas gifts for the whole family and a great journey across six Disney and Pixar worlds especially enjoyable in 4 player co-op mode. [December 2011, p.88] »
« The fun platforming, inspired level design, and bevy of character suits all make this a game worth experiencing. Although the formula is a bit derivative, Disney Universe has such a unique style that you won't notice it that much. »
« The ideal family game. It's quick and simple, but has charm, character and inventive little puzzles galore. »
« Without its surreal mix of worlds and characters, Disney Universe would be little more than a fun, but forgettable LEGO game rip-off. However, with enough charm and personality to fill Cinderella's Castle, it's hard not to recommend it to those who make annual treks to Disneyland or catch every Pixar flick on opening day. If that doesn't describe you, but you're an adult looking for a fun interactive romp to take with your kids, Disney Universe is still a great place to visit. »
« Disney Universe will give parents and kids alike a fun and enjoyable experience. Without the little ones, however, there's not much to be excited about. »
« Creativity covers up many of the imperfections, the artwork in the backdrops is unrivaled in a kids game, and best of all, it's extremely entertaining. »
« A good family game, entertaining even if not too challenging. Parents and children won't stay flat to Disney's characters great charm, even if in the form of funny costumes. »
« The game is solidly entertaining, especially when four competitive players get to whacking each other, racing for powerups, and tossing each other off ledges. »

« This is a childhood classic for me personally I played this with my dad all the time and we had so much fun with it I didn’t like some things like the levels could have let down moments but overall it’s a solid game I went back to play and I really enjoyed this game so much Disney Universe is a classic platformer game that feels truly amazing and has a big hit on nostalgia and this is a unforgettable game anyway this is my full review of Disney Universe if you read this review thank you. »

« The game is ok. i'm even gonna say, that it's perfect for children. So, 6 out of 10. »
« This Game is Perfect for Kids! My younger brother (age 8) loves this game. Its often said to be a "Lego Game Rip-Off," but its much better then those games. While it has sort of the same style as a lego game, its much more replayable, isnt as linear, and has much more content then most of the lego games out there. 9/10 »
« When I was young I had had no sense of quality, but even then, I was able to realise how abysmal this game was, it has bleak levels, boring game-play, and it doesn't even let you play as Disney characters. Instead you have to cosplay as them, and the characters you play as are just plain stupid. Don't buy this game, unless you want to be infuriated beyond belief »
« This game had good potential, though I can't say I was expecting much when it was first announced. I received the game as a gift and regret opening the package. The game itself is lackluster, dull, and uninspired. Many of the levels are the same in different backgrounds or Disney 'themes'. I understand this game is targeted toward a younger demographic, but I'm not criticizing the game on its difficulty, rather its lack of inspiration. Even a child playing this game would be able to recognize that the puzzles are the same, just with minute changes to keep interest. Admittedly, it is nice to see various Disney characters in their cute, costume forms, roaming around (non-open) worlds of various Disney IP's. Also, the game's controls are fluid. Other than those two points, there isn't really much to say about this game; it's just so... mediocre. Disney Universe isn't a bad game; the graphics are nice, the controls are good. The repetition of puzzles simply ruins this game. Disney Universe could have easily been an excellent puzzle game if more variation was included. I would not recommend purchasing this game, even if for children. There are better youth-oriented puzzle games on the market. »
« at first the game was surprisingly fun. Then it got repetitive then boring . heres the pros and cons . cons - every thing (except controls.) Pros - good controls »
« You'll see pretty much all this game has to offer, literally in the first hour, but the game, unfortunately drones on for much longer. You can roam Disney with cute characters. It is pretty evident that Disney Interactive focused this towards children, but they tried to make a good game, hey who can blame 'em? It's a pretty often used business model, make cute characters, toss in the word "Disney" and every kid that sees it will beg their parents for it. If your child asks you for this game, don't give in. Instead (depending on their age), get them a new Sesame Street game for Kinect, it is geared towards little kids and is entertaining, and is actually a good quality game. Like I said before, the game gets boring after the first hour, and if you manage to see the credits, you don't feel like you accomplished something. Co-op does little to ease the pain. You can expect the same kind of co-op action as in Super Mario Bros. Wii (except you won't fall into pits), but the game still remains boring and offers little more than if you were playing solo. »
