Nintendo Insider 100/100

« Dead Cells is a modern-day classic that absorbs the knowledge and spirit of the games that originally coined the terminologies in the first place. »

TheSixthAxis 100/100

« With incredibly satisfying gameplay, a constant stream of unlocks, and a world that challenge every cell of your being, Dead Cells is a must own for anyone who likes even one aspect of what has been mentioned here. Every success will fill you with endorphins, every failure will inspire you to get better. When you finally take out the final boss you will be elated. It is here that Dead Cells lets you know that it is just the beginning, there are a few more go around yet, and each one gets harder and harder. This is the kind of game that can last you forever, you just have to let it beat you in the head a few times. »

GameSpace 100/100

« If you want to play a worthy successor to the long line of Metroidvania classics and are willing to experience rogue-like difficulty to get it, Dead Cells is an experience worth having over and over again. »

Nintenderos 95/100

« Like the atomic structure of a cell, the game from Motion Twin is as complex as DNA, but everything is in one place for a reason. It effectively blends two genres together and becomes a completely new one, with mechanics adjusted to the millimeter, a graphic quality of scandal and a difficulty that invites one to die in order to learn. »

NintendoWorldReport 95/100

« This is a tremendous newcomer to the Switch indie scene and as long as you’re up for a challenge, Dead Cells is spectacular. »

God is a Geek 95/100

« Dead Cells is one of the best rogue-vania games I’ve ever played. The visuals are to die for and it runs beautifully (docked and handheld), but the best facet is that the combat is ultra responsive. »

TrueGaming 95/100

« Dead Cells is absolutely amazing. This game is to action games what Celeste was for platforming games when it was released earlier this year. Dead Cells has it all: great and speedy combat, fantastic progression system (you'll see), and amazing music that you will come back to listen to. »

DualShockers 95/100

« Dead Cells is likely the defining point of the Roguelike genre, thanks to refined combat and clever blending of genres. »

Avis des Joueurs (Metacritic)

Scripzes 10/10

« The best Roguelike ever made with some of the best Hack n Slash combat possible in 2D. RNG made well enough to the point where it doesn't feel unfair and amazing level design. »

artin638 10/10

« If you are looking for a Rogue-like/lite game, Dead Cells is the perfect answer. The game has incredible action; in fact, it is the 2D game with the best action. Another good side is that there is an extreme amount of variety in the game; variety should already be high in a Rogue-like game, but in Dead Cells, it is even more than in other Rogue-likes. The bosses in the game are also well-designed, but the bosses at the beginning of the game are simple (made so that it isn't too difficult). I could count more of its good sides, but the list would go on forever; it is the masterpiece of Rogue-like games and a perfect game. Its only flaw is that even though the story is good, there is no storytelling, but this is not a mistake, it is a choice. The developers didn't want to slow down the game's pace with the story. Also, the game gives you too much freedom; this is not a bad thing either, but if you constantly go to the same levels, you will get bored of the game. You need to know how to enjoy the game yourself. »

Kuroti101 10/10

« This is the best indie game; I'll argue with anyone who claims otherwise. It holds a very special place for me; it was the first game I ever bought for my console. I invite those who avoid it because it's pixel 2D to try it. Also, the Metacritic score seems low, considering Hades 2 got a 94. »

Wadnell 10/10

Chapl1n 9/10

« rogue like platform türünün en iyisi bence.

ThatDyl 10/10

« One of the best action rogue-lites I've played. So good I needed to buy the game and all of it's dlc, three times... The game has a perfected roguelite formula, difficult and rewarding combat, and really good controls with a gamepad or on mobile (though I don't prefer keyboard) each Boss Cell difficulty is exponentially harder, but each game feels similar, yes so different. Great game. »

« Not a terrible game. However, couldn't continue playing it. Sad - Also had this realization after buying it. Good note: if you're new to gaming, stay away. Advise that your a advid gamer. Thats all. »

P4WF4N_01 10/10
