Dead by Daylight, développé et publié par Behaviour Interactive, est sorti le 14 juin 2016. Dans ce jeu de stratégie multijoueur asymétrique, quatre survivants piégés dans un royaume d'horreur surnaturelle affrontent un tueur sanguinaire, les survivants évoluant en troisième personne avec une meilleure conscience de la situation tandis que le tueur joue en première personne focalisé sur ses proies, l'objectif des survivants étant de s'échapper du terrain sans se faire attraper, dans un environnement généré aléatoirement à chaque partie. Le titre est disponible sur PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S et Google Stadia, fonctionne sous Unreal Engine 5 et est proposé au prix de 19,99 euros. Le jeu a reçu un score de 71 sur Metacritic et de 70 sur OpenCritic, avec une note agrégée de 69,97. La presse a salué la fraîcheur et le fun de son gameplay malgré la récurrence du contenu, comme l'a relevé SpazioGames, tandis que certains joueurs regrettent un déséquilibre perçu en faveur des tueurs et une dimension jugée trop « pay to win », d'autres appréciant au contraire l'intérêt de la formule asymétrique et la variété apportée par les événements.

« It's quite "pay to win" situation. If you don't have high prestige levels yet, you are out of luck. Killers are a bit overpowered and that kills the justice in the game. I hate being survivor because of that factor, especially in 2v8 where you get cornered by 2 killers with nowhere to go and they can cross the map for seconds, while you have crouch so you don't leave scratch marks in the way and spoil your position .however the idea is **** that's it »
« Jeux asymétrique, vraiment bien, le gameplay est intéressant, les évènements varient ce gameplay, même si pour moi il devrait mettre définitivement le mode 2V8 dans le jeu et d’autres avec un peu. Dommage qu’il y ait quelques bugs, mais sinon je recommande vraiment ce jeu. »
« Мне было приятно играть до обновления 9.2.0 : все было впринципе сбалансировано и был нормальный подбор. Но после этого апдейта у игры, как будто, пошло все по одному месту : имбаланс сурвов, дебаффы манов с каждым апдейтом и тд. « Can't see the appeal, yes it pays homage to slasher flicks but playing youre either a sadistic killer slaughtering people who can't fight back, or a helpless victim who will have to sneak around to maybe survive. « La razón por los nueve puntos. Aunque ya lo juegue actualmente en PS5 (no cambia en nada mas que texturas), es un juego fantástico y pionero del asimétrico de terror pero que se siente un tanto roto aveces con los equilibrios que te tocan en algunos mapas o perks sea el asesino o superviviente, aún así termina de divertir por que la mayoría de las partidas se sienten totalmente justificadas. No hay margen de error para ninguno de los dos bandos y se premia el ingenio. Para ser un juego para pasar el rato está perfecto, aunque si te va a llevar mucho tiempo perfeccionar sea cual sea el bando que elijas, PARA NADA ES UN JUEGO FACÍL y el azar lo hace aún más divertido por que juega con la insertidumbre y miedo a lo desconocido. Si eres asesino ruega por que no te toque un team de cuatro coordinados en un chat de voz por que la vas a pasar mal. Y si eres survivor ruega por que no te toque un tryhard con perks que te van a dar tensión y dolores de cabeza toda la partida. No llega al 10, por que hay cosas que arreglar sobre todo algún asesino un tanto roto pero no es el caso de la mayoría. »
« Felix is my beloved and I love him but the survivor role is so broken and busted which is insane because the killer role is what leads people to even play this game. The devs have gone on record to say that they don't even like killers and that theyre bad people which is actually insane. They consistently ignore the role and this development team has 0 idea on how to balance anything. »
« Al igual que el Valorant tambien de los mejores multi. Lo volví a jugar después de años y fue como droga, no pare. Las dos formas de jugar (survivor/asesino) son re divertidas. Y la verdad las colaboraciones le dan un toque, es como que te da ilusión que por ej. te persiga chucky por el mapa. La verdad lo siguen manteniendo muy bien y ojala que sigan así por que es muy bueno el game. »
