Crown Trick est un RPG d'aventure magnifiquement animé de style rogue qui se caractérise par des combats au tour par tour et une stratégie interactive basée sur des compétences. Le labyrinthe généré par la progression vous garantit une expérience différente chaque fois que vous entrez dans le donjon. Mais contrairement aux cartes ouvertes traditionnelles, Crown Trick vous enferme dans un petit donjon pour combattre les monstres. Sans accès à la carte entière, vous n'avez pas d'autre choix que de décider stratégiquement comment monter votre attaque sur l'ennemi.
Stratégie au tour à tour synchrone
Le jeu se déplace au fur et à mesure que vous vous déplacez, et vos ennemis restent immobiles jusqu'à ce que vous ayez choisi la meilleure façon d'attaquer. Prenez le temps qu'il vous faut pour tracer votre route, décidez de la meilleure façon d'éviter les pièges ou de la manière d'utiliser les éléments à votre avantage. Une stratégie bien pensée est la clé pour échapper vivant de ce donjon.
Lancez vos aptitudes sur les éléments du terrain
A mesure que vous vous enfoncez dans le donjon, vous rencontrerez des terrains reflétant une variété d'éléments qui peuvent être combinés avec vos compétences pour infliger de lourds dégâts à l'ennemi. Jeter du feu sur le pétrole pour brûler les monstres et mélanger la foudre à l'eau pour électrocuter vos ennemis. Il existe de nombreuses combinaisons mortelles à explorer et à utiliser pour tuer les monstres que vous rencontrez.
Apprenez les compétences de votre ennemi
Tout au long de votre quête, vous rencontrerez des monstres d'élite équipés de compétences d'élite appelées Familiers. En les vainquant, vous aurez accès à leurs capacités, ce qui augmentera votre arsenal de compétences que vous pourrez libérer en passant aux niveaux suivants.

Une trés bonne DA et un tres bon concepte malheuresement gaché par une absence total de balance, une dificulté au abonné absente une grande répétivité et une faible duréé de vie.

« Crown Trick is a roguelike that isn’t afraid to make you feel overpowered through its systems. However, it’s also not afraid to test your skills by introducing powerful enemies and traps. No matter what, though, there are plenty of ways for the player to take on the challenge. It’s this design that makes Crown Trick a must-play for both dungeon-crawler and roguelike fans. Even as I’m writing this, I just want to play more, which is the first time I’ve ever wanted to be in a nightmare. »

« La idea de Crown Trick está bien, pero la ejecución de la misma acaba a medio camino de dos sitios, en tierra de nadie. Por un lado, el ADN básico de Crown Trick son los juegos estilo Hades donde vas explorando e iterando con cada intento en medio de acción frenética, esquivando, atacando y usando distintas armas y habilidades. El otro lado de su ADN es un juego que es por turnos, lo cual contradice profundamente lo que el cuerpo te está pidiendo que hagas si fuera del otro tipo de juegos. Y, a la hora de ser por turnos, es demasiado sencillo lo que se puede y no se puede hacer, sin un combate realmente complejo lleno de profundidad e interés. Y la progresión es muy limitada, con unas tiendas que desbloquean algunas mejoras pero tampoco nada demasiado profundo o game-changing. Gráficamente el juego es discreto en el mejor de los casos, con atajos de distinto tipo para ahorrar en animaciones y otros elementos. El sonido cumple, pero rápidamente se vuelve repetitivo. Al menos, eso si, no me encontré ningún bug durante mi tiempo jugando. El resultado es que, aunque es una buena idea, la ejecución la acaba dejando en insuficiente. Un 4 »

« Crown Trick is tough and not for the faint of heart. I'm over 70 hours in and still haven't completed a full run of day 2, only making it to the final boss room once so far. It's a wonderfully designed dungeon crawler I've been playing since the beta. A combination of weapons, relics, elements, familiars, and terrain create a continuously shifting experience. It feels like you learn a lot as you play, constantly discovering new possibilities and adapting your play style. As a result, the game has tremendous replay value as each run feels fresh and I've only scratched the surface of what's possible. Overall, I'd recommend it to those who enjoy turn-based RPGs such as Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest type games and creepy dungeon crawlers like Darkest Dungeon or even deckbuilding games like Slay the Spire. It feels like a cross between a D&D-style RPG and a crafty card game. »
« Because I was lucky enough to participate actively to the beta test, I've fall in love with the gameplay and the storytelling of the game. I'm not use to play "turn based" game as I have always thought it's boring and not very challenging, but this game is all about planning correctly your next move, if you make mistakes then you'll pay the price. I become more and more hardcore player with this game because there is so many build that are to investigate. The casino is for me a turning point in the run, if you got unlucky during the run a good and smart use of the casino can help you to go back in track or you can continue to be unlucky, but that's what casino are right? The only point I don't enjoy tho is the weapon gachapon, it's not really useful in my point of view. If you are looking for a game to play brain-dead then this game won't suit you, but if you love challenges and want to overcome yourself constantly then you are more than welcome to experience this game. »
