The countries included are Kenya (gravel and tarmac), Finland (gravel and mud), United Kingdom (tarmac, mud and gravel), Sweden (snow and ice), Australia (loose pea gravel), Japan (1 stage in challenge mode, Tarmac and Mud), France (Corsica) (tarmac), Greece (rough gravel), and Italy (tarmac). The car featured on the front cover of the game was McRae's Ford Focus WRC 2000 (V3 FMC).

« Surely this game is a bit outdated, especially the graphics looks ugly with low polygon and empty tracks. In addition the sound is only average. The game is lagging a lot on modern pcs and you need to download the dgVoodoo wrapper to solve it. But the feeling of racing a rally car is great. It is motivating to control the slides. There are only 8 countries, but they are very different. The championship mode and the time mode, where you drive again your own ghost are great. Only the arcade mode is just average. »

« After all these years, this game still brings me joy... pure joy. It's the best of all Colin games and probably the most fun racing game as well. I replayed it last week, finished the rally in one sitting, then moved on to some arcade races and had lots of fun. We will die, but this game won't. Also multiplayer still works, tested it with a friend. You can connect through ITC IP. Pickens approves! »
