Bigfoot
Bigfoot, sorti le 1er août 1990, est un jeu de course développé par Beam Software et édité par Acclaim Entertainment pour la Nintendo Entertainment System. Il s'agit d'un jeu de course de monster-truck dans lequel le joueur contrôle le camion éponyme et affronte The Growler et The Charger. Le titre s'inspire librement du monster truck du même nom présenté dans le segment animé The Power Team, intégré à l'émission télévisée Video Power de 1990. Le nom Bigfoot renvoie par ailleurs à une créature légendaire supposée vivre au Canada et aux États-Unis, dont la multiplication des témoignages suggère l'existence hypothétique de plusieurs individus plutôt que d'un seul.
Sur le plan technique, le jeu utilise le moteur Unreal Engine 4 et son système de gestion des droits numériques repose sur Steam. Du côté des retours de la communauté, des joueurs s'exprimant sur Metacritic ont partagé des avis personnels, l'un d'eux écrivant notamment : « This game is in early access, but for its price-tag and the amount of updates this game keeps receiving, I'd say it's worth the price. The atmosphere is tense … », tandis qu'un autre a déclaré : « Monkey is here and he’s not very happy, play it! You’ll enjoy yourself and with friends if possible. ».

« This game is in early access, but for its price-tag and the amount of updates this game keeps receiving, I'd say it's worth the price. The atmosphere is tense once your supplies begin to dwindle and graphics, for an indie game in early access, are surprisingly good. I'd recommend getting a few friends to play the game with, as that is when it is most enjoyable in my opinion. My only complaints with the game is some of its bugs, there are several errors that cause it to crash - and several pieces of the terrain where the player can get stuck, another issue is the difficulty for a solo player, like I said - you really need a group to give this game a fair shot. Overall, these complaints are fairly minor once you know what you're doing and with a group of friends, I enjoy this game immensely for what it is - but admit it's far from perfect. »
