Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon

« Armored Core 6 is an unsympathetic and cold-blooded game. It's a cup of bitter, black coffee – and thankfully, that suits my palate perfectly. It's full of moments that make you feel very powerful – in both effortless and hard-fought ways – and moments that make you very, very small. In the face of it all, you're pushed to overcome the impossible. And you'll come out on the other end wearing an exhausted, wry smile. »
« Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is an utterly unforgettable experience with satisfyingly crunchy combat, a fascinating narrative with surprising twists, and deep customization for mech-heads. If this is the future of Armored Core, then the future is bright indeed. »
« Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is a challenging game and a must for all those who love FromSoftware's works. Incredible battles, a high degree of customization and brilliant bosses are some of its high points that place it among the best releases of the year. »
« Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is a masterful return to form for the series that incorporates the modern design philosophies of From Software. It’s a dystopian world with a brutally gorgeous aesthetic and refined gameplay elevated by exceptional boss battles. Any fan of the series new or old will find something to love. »
« After conquering the world, FromSoftware returns to its roots in a passion project manages to elevate Armored Core's original concepts through its newfound technical mastery without ever diluting the game's classic formula. »
« FromSoftware did it again. Despite no following the soulslike formula and returning to an old franchise, la studio behind Elden Ring manages to deliver a epic, modern and very well design mecha game the definitely, is a GOTY contender. »
« Armored Core VI is not just fan service. It's an incredible synthesis of a respected franchise and lessons learned over ten years of game design. For longtime players of Armored Core, the new game moves the series forward in a remarkably successful way. While it's an entirely different experience, gamers coming from Dark Souls will still recognize FromSoftware's core philosophy of challenge, persistence and reward. Armored Core VI is fast-paced, brutally difficult in places and extremely satisfying to play. »
« Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon has everything you could want in a mech game. The tight, responsive controls leave nothing to be desired. Every battlefield is a work of art. … This is the Armored Core you've been waiting more than a decade for, and it is absolutely worth it. »

« i have played i first on PC but only got 1 ending, and played it again when i bought the physical version on PS5 and platinumed it, just a PEAK Mecha game, AC4 was my first Armored Core game, and AC6 is just so good with modern controls, truly one of the best action game ever created »
« this game is very fun but I will say it feels like there's nothing interesting to do in new game plus and plus plus »
« One of the best Fromsoftware games out there. Everything was done so well. I just wish there was more. Also, the bosses are not too hard at all. They require strategy and proper layouts, as well as aggression not passivity. Peak gaming. »
« It is a fun time, but super unbalanced. Sometimes it feels like it has to be that one specific built, to be able to have a chance to finish an enemy, but the way to find that one combination of mech parts is pretty much trial and error busy work. Also, story is presented pretty lazy, mission structure is pretty retro and no difficulty option (for people who have a life besides gaming and taxes to pay) is still obscene - give people the option to play a game on their terms! Graphics, sound and cosmetic customisation of the mech are very nice. Hopefully the game design and structure will be rethinked in the next installment. An open world would be pretty exciting - moving fast, looking for new rare parts for the mech, getting loot for quests. »
« Great game. If you like big mechs and big guns, then 100% will be up your alley. Otherwise, its a fun action game, good controls (even if it lacks some needed game options to costumize them as well as lack of some industry standard quality of life), a little hard at times due to some harsh dificulty spikes on bosses, but not too bad. Great weapon variety, but the general big rifle and big gun aproach is also viable. The mission progression can be a little samey by the end and most characters other than the main ones are forgetable, but the story is good and the voice acting is phenomenal. Also, important to point out that the mech design and customization is incredible, so if you like to paint your character and spend some time looking cool (or paint your mech lime green with neon pink) than you will be well served »
« Very good game, the art style fits the theme of the game, it's a really nice change of pace from the regular souls like experience. Best thing about the game is definitely the gameplay. »
« Don't listen to "Shawnplaygames" because clearly they have never played any. This game is a masterpiece. The action, the story, the gameplay and the level of customization is top tier!! Takes awhile to master the movement and controls but once you do you feel like a total badass!! »
« Horrid. Absolutely horrid. Lazy, junky, ugly, dumb controls, dumb guns, dumb enemies... no joke I could make a better game by myself. It's complete and utter ****. »
