Description (IGDB)

In this game, meet a mysterious girl who demands you use an "Anomalous Coffee Machine". Type any word to create a drink, then choose who drinks: her or you. Some cups whisper, some scream, some change what you are. She watches quietly, like she already knows what you’ll choose. Now it's your turn!

Description Steam (Français)

Anomalous Coffee Machine 2 is a strange interactive visual novel and fictional simulation where you stand across from a mysterious girl and an unassuming coffee vending machine capable of producing anything you type, no matter how impossible it seems.

She doesn’t tell you who she is, why she's there, or what's the deal with the coffee machine. All she asks is that you type a word—any word—and press the button. The machine will respond. It always does.

Type in "coffee", and you’ll receive exactly that.
Type "blood"—yeah, sure.
Type "saliva"—You probably shouldn’t, but it can do that too.
Type "death"? You can try.

HOW TO PLAY

Gameplay is simple:

  • Type a word.

  • A cup appears.

  • Choose who drinks: the girl, or you.

  • Something happens. Or doesn’t. Or waits.

She reacts differently depending on what you give her. Sometimes she smiles. Sometimes she winces. Sometimes she vanishes, only to return changed. Sometimes she doesn’t come back at all. And if you choose to drink, the machine reacts to you instead. Don’t expect a fair trade.

There are no instructions. No quests. No markers to follow. You’re not told what the machine is or what it wants. You’re left to experiment. Test words. Try feelings. Push the machine. Break it. Or let it break you.

30,000+ wishlists on the Interdimensional Vending Machine!

Hi! What's up! Here's some update. I know it's been a while since I made a significant update on my games. ACM1 and ACM2 are still ongoing, but personally, I'm not working that much on the games myself besides direct supervision. I'm fortunate enough that these games managed to get some success, so I now have some funds to hire other very talented people. ACM2 is still quite successful, just like the first game, but while I did try my best to avoid getting any negative backlash on the final Steam launch, I still got some through the DLC thing. Their points are valid, and while I do see some others defending why I did it (geo-blocking and NSFW filter), it still sucks to read some negative and rude comments about my actions and my game. To be honest, I know I did my best to really make ACM1 and ACM2 as polished and as good as possible, and while I love working on the games, I've been hating them lately. And it's not a simple hate—it's just that if you keep seeing the same game for 15 hours a day for almost two years straight, sometimes you just want to vomit on your computer screen. I did manage to endure for some time, but after the final Steam release last December, I immediately took off and chilled for a bit. And I've been chilling ever since. Traveling and stuff, binge-watching anime and live-action series, etc. I recently finished The Hobbit and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. Awesome stuff! Anyway, so what am I gonna do next? I actually don't know. I thought I had something going for the new game I planned, with the new Horu art style and such, but I don't know what to do with it. And these past few weeks, I've been resisting the urge to just make ACM3 since I really don't know what to do with my life anymore. I hate these damned anomalous coffee machines, but they made me who I am, so I don't know what I want to do without them. Of course, I'm not just gonna remake the same shit and call it "3" since that would be incredibly stupid, so I'm still figuring out what would make ACM3 special. I can't just make three people transform and talk poetry with each other. ACM3 might return to the roots of ACM1, and short-haired Horu might lead it—I still don't know. But I do feel like I might come up with something soon. Not very soon, just soon. So stay tuned!!! Sorry for the silence; I've been mentally shit these first three months of the year, but I'm still working on stuff and mostly just figuring shit out. I'm not dead yet, that's for sure. But I'm really glad you guys still like ACM2 and still love ACM1. https://forms.gle/rg6boYcoaWawdkez8=============================================== Our friends from the Interdimensional Vending Machine team just hit another milestone! Their game is now officially at 30,000+ wishlists! They're making awesome progress with their final update for the Steam release, here's some of their teasers: I'm very excited when this game finally releases!Wishlist the game now!
