This game explores the impact of accessibility settings through a short, playable experience, forcing players to confront exactly how it feels... to play an unplayable game.
an unplayable game?! is not a typical platformer. It is designed to test your understanding of movement mechanics, turning every jump into a micro-puzzle... to complete it, you'll have to rely on problem-solving instead of dexterity.
Aggressively human.
Proudly made over the course of 140+ hours of human effort (the trailer was made at 120 hours but i did a LOT more bug-fixing and polish afterwards), this game contains NO generative AI output, and AI was not used in any capacity during the game's construction.
This is my first solo game, and that's important to me. I made it, I made uncountable decisions to bring it into existence, and so I documented it...
...with over 30 minutes of developer commentary.
~25 commentary tracks, totaling over 30 minutes, spread across the game to give players a peek behind the curtain during their second playthrough. Tracks go over the how and why I made an unplayable game?!, firmly anchoring the human artistry into the game itself.

"an unplayable game?!" is a part of InterfaceX 2026!!!
interfaceX is a brand new indie steam event all about games with fake/simulated interfaces!!! this is its first year, and "an unplayable game?!" was chosen to be a part of it :)there will be tons of sales on existing games, demo releases for unreleased games, and even some new full-game reveals and releases. an unplayable game is obviously completely free, so i'm unfortunately not able to do any discounts or anything :(but i figure that if you liked an unplayable game?!, you can check out a bunch of similar games during the event!!you can read more about the event here, and it'll be running from April 17th to May 4th!
TWO Indie Game Awards Nominations!!!
i thought an unplayable game's time in the spotlight was over, but last week it got TWO NOMINATIONS for Debug Magazine's Indie Game Awards!it's up for the Award For Accessibility (for obvious reasons)...and the Free Play Award, since it's free :)i'll be at the awards show (and the accompanying games festival) in-person in Norwich, England later this month, and it's got free tickets if you want to go. But it'll also be streamed live!The awards show itself will be on the 25th of April, so it's coming up VERY fast. and you'll be able to watch it live on Debug's YouTube Channel, so don't miss it!This is such a huge honor to be nominated, and a total surprise too,, super exciting!! its such a huge event for indies and i'm absolutely thrilled to be a part of it. thank you so much for your support on this game, playing it, sharing it around, talking about it... i can't believe it's led to THIS. it's crazy to think about, but i appreciate that support more than i can put into words, it means the world to me that my little game has reached so far

After an unplayable game?!, I wanted to try making something simple, but replayable and polished. The project kind of EXPLODED when it comes to development time, taking 370+ hours at this point. but I think it's coming along well!It's a simple game about putting shapes in slots, with a focus on making it fun to improve your skills and master the game. There's daily online leaderboards and a cool wager-based scoring system, allowing you to bet on your own skills to dominate the leaderboards.Again, it's pretty simple, I don't want to overhype it. But if you're interested in a quick daily-challenge puzzle game, you can try the game's demo HERE if you're interested! It'll be up FOREVER and will have cross-save with the full game
